**Q: What is the wood finished with?  Will it need to be conditioned with cutting board oil/butter/conditioner?**
A: I just was with soap and water

**Q: In what country is this made?**
A: I’m sorry but I don’t know where it was made…it is of good quality and I purchased it as a wedding gift…my only issue is that it’s shipped in a thin cardboard box with no protective wrap around it other than a piece of thin plastic and the first one I purchased I had to return it because in the shipping process the box was gouged and the wood was severely damaged so I had to return it…the second one I purchased was undamaged even though that box was gouged also….it is great good looking charcuterie board though

A: Yes it is smooth. I used it to create a charcuterie board for a birthday party

**Q: Mine arrived and has a seam going down it so it's not all 1 piece of wood. Looks like 2 pieces of wood glued together. Is that expected?**
A: I bought this for my sister and I didn't see a seam.
