Pre de Provence Artisanal French Soap Bar Enriched with Shea Butter, Verbena, 150 Gram

We've been buying this product as our go-to ever since we found it for the first time back in 2019. And we never looked back! It is great for both of us, and we have different skin types! As I get older especially my skin gets drier and more sensitive, and this soap really keeps me hydrated. It also lasts a long time and continues to produce great lather to the last little sliver. AND it smells good. What more can you ask for? : )

The soap overall is a good product, and I've been buying it for a while. Today I got a visibly old couple of soap bricks: powdery looking, as if it's been seating there. So, while I won't be returning it and will be using, I have to say it is disappointing and I might need to look elsewhere. Took one star off.

I had to note that I have had issues with this in the genital area I THINK! I'm not completely sure, but because I see now it was mentioned by other reviews that it caused itchiness, perhaps it is not the soap for me. (Although I haven't had this problem since my younger years over 15 years ago.) I don't think I can return it now that it's opened and used. just won't be ordering it again. Maybe it's the citrus (verbena) that is a problem. I might be willing to try out the rose or another scent, just because ordering just one is allowed, as in this case. But I have to wait until this problem clears up. I'm better now that I haven't used it in a few days.

Honestly was a little disappointed with this. The bar I received was course - and is still a bit coarse with some grit in it. I find it tough to work up any great lather for showering and just overall disappointing. Also - the verbena scent is weak ...

Verbena is a classic French soap fragrance - and this made-in-France product is moisturizing, smoothing and feels great on my sensitive skin. The fragrance is an authentic lemon scent; there's nothing about this that smells manufactured (or like a certain dish soap!). Highly recommend.
