Delish and Dog Approved
We love everything about this TVP. Of note is the variety of size of the crumbles, much more reminiscent of real chopped or ground meat. Really bland not unpleasant taste on their own and take on the flavor of whatever you cook them with including seasonings, broths, vegetables and sauces. The texture is good. We’re repeat customers and the quality has been very consistent. Also, our little dog just loves his occasional soy treats, dry or rehydrated!

TVP is a great meat substitute.
Easy prep. Just like Soy Curls, just in smaller pieces. Perfect for soups, wraps, tacos, spaghetti, etc.

Just bought this again, which says a lot!
This was very good tvp. The flavor was mild like soy curls, basically flavorless, which I prefer to flavored brands of tvp. I especially like the size of these -- small enough to be used as a ground beef substitute in chili, but still big enough to sub for satisfying chicken bits in chick'n veggie soup, without being large strips or chunks like soy curls. Not the most affordable tvp, which is why I gave only 4 stars. Until I can find a cheaper alternative, I'll be using these regularly.

This works good in so many recipes.
Good meat alternative, so easy to use and store. I make a lot of soups and chilis although i'm not a vegetarian i am trying to cut back on red meat and well meat period. This really mixes, and imitates ground beef, or any type of meat really well. It soaks up the flavor in the recipe and looks like meat.

Good stuff
I don’t understand the negative reviews. I’ve been a vegetarian for 30 years and know how bad imitation meat can be, but this stuff isn’t bad. It has good texture and takes on the flavor of whatever you cook it with. Maybe they aren’t following the instructions.

Great meat alternative
I use the TVP crumbles whenever I'm cooking up a pot of beans. Regardless if they be Pinto, little red, kidney, navy bean, etc. I add a cup or two of the crumbles depending on the quantity of beans an hour or two before the beans are done. The crumbles will swell and soften and take on the flavor of the beans being cooked. I've been a vegetarian for many years and there crumbles provide me the protein I need due to the lack of meat in my diet. I use them as a meat substitute in other recipes as well. Maybe not a choice for a Texas cattleman but a healthy alternative for those who prefer a meatless diet.

Great Vegan Protein Source That’s Simple to Cook With
A convenient, versatile plant-based protein I use all the time. I absolutely love this textured vegetable protein and have used it in many different ways. It’s an easy protein source to keep on hand and works well in a wide variety of dishes. It’s simple to prepare and absorbs flavor really well, which makes it great for things like tacos, stir-fries, curries, or mixed into sauces. Once rehydrated and seasoned, the texture is satisfying and blends easily into meals without overpowering them. I also like that it’s plant-based, non-GMO, and shelf-stable, so it’s convenient for meal prep and quick weeknight cooking.

Disappointed...crumbs, not chunks; no instructions on bag nor website. I'll prepare the way I do with my soy curls. Won't buy again.
