Love all of Sonja’s books and this one is a great book for parents and grandparents. The illustrations are amazing, loving and so much fun. The book has such wonderful advice and guidance for everyone. It is the perfect book for these difficult times so we can all help to develop and grow compassionate children and adults! This is really a lovely book. It contains wisdom, not just information. Never preachy, it takes the natural elements of gardening and compares it to nurturing seeds of compassion in children so that they can blossom into caring adults. I found the principles of nurturing plants that Sonja applies to childrearing to be spot-on to even someone like me, who has very little interest in gardening! I am also impressed with all the awards she garnered for this book.
