I bought these for hardware placement regarding a garage door drum and bearing but haven’t had an opportunity to use for what intended However I needed the smooth surface to tap on an inner rotor seal, the taper set I bought let the seal tip to one side. These rings were heavy weight and were well shaped. They will work for what I needed them for but was happy to have something of solid weight to tap in that seal. Great quality and well priced

Worked perfect to replace the push on shaft locks/ for wheels to hold them in place on shaft of a 2 wheel hand truck. when you pull the wheels off you need to replace the mounting hardware. This works better than drilling for cotter pins or finding the retainers that hold the wheels on! Just sand the shafts a little put wheels on, and slid on the collars tighten the collars with an allen key and finished. a shot of lube in the wheels bearings too will make things last.

Had to get new 1" bore tires (solid) for wheelbarrow whose tires had been neglected. Inherited this wheelbarrow that had alot of life left in the other parts. Got the tires and then realized that they were not as wide of width at the bore, these mounted on both sides and tightened allow me to put the tires as far apart as possible and avoid the tray of the wheelbarrow for a smoother roll. They are simply the solution for my application and worth every penny of ease and sustainability.

Good thickness threading is a bit loose. Fit to shaft (5/8") is very good no slap. Haven't had it long term, but think it will need a second set screw to insure a secure hold.

They fit if your axle is completely round and not hammered on the end. Tolerance is correct so if you have rust or debris on the axle it should also be removed easily by a file or sand paper. The locking set screws are secure and I have never had one come loose. We use these on our hand trucks and are highly recommended.. Quality product at a reasonable price.
