These are great! My daughter is going through her second pair as she outgrew last year's sz S, for reference she wears a sz 8 clothing and the sz youth M fits her now perfectly

This review is to help provide some sizing and gender specific clarity to other shoppers.I needed baseball pants in solid red very quickly. Apparently the only ones that you can find in this color with two day shipping are on Amazon, but labeled as girls softball pants. I read so many conflicting statements about the size and cut of these, but decided to order them anyway because I had to have something.I ordered a size medium. My son is 7 almost 8. He is a slender athletic build, 49” (4ft 1in) tall and 59lbs. His waist measures 25” and his inseam is 20”.Let me clarify that these would be just fine for boys. The fit in the crotch and seat were fine. The medium however were a little smaller than we would have liked.My son does not like to push his pants up to wear knicker style, he would rather they completely cover his ankle to the shoe with some room to spare. As you can see in the provided photo they are a tad short of that. They were also surprisingly a little snug in the waist. He would not have had any room to grow or for shrinkage during laundering.All that being said the pants are a nice color and good quality. In my opinion these run towards little kid sizing as my skinny average height 7 yr old boy could have went up to a size large.

Our 10U softball team all ordered these for pants. We have 11 girls and 2 of them (my daughter being one of them) each had button issues- the button is not lined up correctly in the inside and will not close. Thank goodness there are two buttons up top and the girls use belts.

These are the best fitting and most durable softball pants my daughter has. We've tried Under Armor, Rip It, Boombah, and Nike in the past. They don't come close to the Mizuno quality and fit.

This pants are SLIM FIT. My daughter is a very slim hipped 10/12 and the larges just fit her, she won't be able to wear them again next year. I also got mediums for my solid athletic big 8yr old and they are snug on her through the thigh. They both insist they like the fit but I think I will be trying another brand for AllStars to give them more stretch and comfort.The pants otherwise are very well made and thick. This are good pants for cold nights and sliding a lot. They have survived so far with lots of abuse with no marks or tears.The button snaps can be hard for small fingers to snap shut.

I like this product because they fit my daughter very well. She loves them and she will be able to wear them for a while. I used this product for my daughter for softball.

These pants were bought for a 9 year old girl. They were excellent quality. Thick and sturdy. She usually wears a large or extra large bottoms in girl sizes. These were an extra large and were too tight in the waist and crotch. There is very little stretch ability in these pants. There was no give in the crotch or waist.
