I'm 67 and have literally spent hundreds of dollars over just the past 10 years alone on eyeliner. As we age, I'm unfortunately learning different eye makeup and makeup itself needs to be eliminated or changed. For the most part I've decided to invest more time, effort and money into skin care instead of buying expensive and even unexpensive face makeup. Less is more, for me anyway at 67. But eyeliner becomes almost a necessity and discovering the right one is essential. I've tried them all. My all time favorite prior to discovering GIVENCHY was Maybelline Master Perecise Skinny gel pencil. I love the product for the fine line it allowed me to achieve, providing a more natural look to the point you might question if any eye pencil was being used. My only issue is it seemed to somehow make its way to my lower under eye area, but I dealth with this by just softly giving that area a swipe with my baby fingertip. I love that notion of a less is more so a soft swipe once or twice was not an issue.OK so onto the new product I used for the first time. GIVENCHY, it didn't advertise as being Skinny, thin etcetera, but it looked like a shape tip from the picture. It was a gel and has self attached sharpener. OK I know lot's of eyeliners have these features. However I've never used GIVENCHY eyeliners in my 67, soon to be 68 years on this earth so early birthday gift to myself. Well best gift I've ever given myself. One it is a very fine line, 🙂 I purchased the color Chestnut, when black/brown are my usually choices. GIVENCHY Chestnut was a beautiful choice. It went on like butter, I discovered when they advertised it as Waterproof it was 100% accurate. I've tried many liners and mascara that states "Waterproof" and apparently the writers of their adds either 1, never used the product for a true test run or two are just writers who probably work from home and don't even use makeup.I have truly never found an 👁 eyeliner or eye product that provides a product that delivers what is stated on package. In using this one product from GIVENCHY, I now need to continue to try other products in their line, well as much as my retirement income allows. 😀
