Can you place Tegarm film on the wond without it sticking to it?

I placed the film directly on my knee would (skin grated off from gravel). My would was still open and still leaked puss. It worked awesomely! No gauze needed.

What is the expiry date on it? The pic shows 2001 ;)

Most food and medication is effective well past the date stamped on the package with the exception of a very few specific meds. I knew a pharmacologist who tested the effectiveness of them for the US government; the biggest problem with Tegaderm would be degradation of the adhesive but if stored properly it's not likely.

American consumers waste too much food. Store fresh food correctly, prep it asap. Realize dates on food are "best by" … your yogurt isn't going bad as soon as it's time's up. Covid-19 can affect farmworkers- don't let anyone's labor go to waste.

Would you be able to use this with tattoos?

This is actually the best way to heal a tattoo! Like stated by someone else, wait 24 hours to allow the initial oozing to lessen and apply. Leave for 3-6 days and your tattoo is almost healed without any scabbing or healing. If you still have some oozing after the first application, change it out and leave on for several days. The only word of caution is be sure to use the 3M brand reader. There are other ones out there that purport to be the same thing - I have tried a couple and developed a rash around the edges and I know several others who have too. This one by 3M has been perfect for my tattoo healing!

Which version of this product has the removable frame? I bought some and it has a permanent frame around it

I don't know about a permanent frame, this one had a removable frame. I have purchased both 1626W 4x4 3/4 and 1624W 2 3/8x2 3/4 and both had removable frames
