ShedPro for Cats (32 fl oz)

As the owner of 3 cats - including one very fluffy Maine Coon - cat hair is always a problem in my household. I've been using this product for a few weeks and, while I still can't wear black without looking like I rolled around on the floor of a groomer's, I have to say I think it's been working!Case in point: with three feline furballs in my home, I am constantly cleaning up after somebody who has yakked somewhere. Prior to using this product, I was cleaning hairballs at the rate of at least one per day. Now, I have not found a hairball in over a week! Furthermore, while I still get the occasional "tumbleweed" of cat hair, I am no longer finding clods all around my house.Though I haven't been feeding this product yet for long enough to give it an absolute thumbs-up, my experience thus far has been very positive in indicating that it works. Not only that, but my fluffiest cat is softer than ever before.To address the many reviews I saw that stated that the smell is overwhelming and/or that the cats refused to eat food with the supplement: I'm very glad I did not let these discourage me! The smell is no more than regular cat food; while it's no fine eau de parfum, it certainly will NOT stink up your house. As for my cats' palates? My guys think they've died & gone to culinary heaven! What cat doesn't enjoy fish?! They like the added moisture to their meal and the flavour of the fish oil. If your cat eats regular cat food with fish flavour, you should have no problem feeding this supplement.

The white cat sheds like crazy. He's also extremely peculiar in his tastes. While he would agree to eat his food with this on it I noticed a marked decrease in shedding and improvement in his coat. But then he became too stubborn to eat it at all. The product doesn't say "refrigerate" but I believe it should be. It did seem to acquire a bit of a rancid odor when left at room temperature.So I would definitely recommend the product, and recommend that you refrigerate it after opening.

I dont think my three cats like the taste or the smell of this product. Even when i mix it with their favorite meals, the soon can smell it and walk away. I tried force feeding the for awhile to see if it works. They kept on shedding.

Mixed it in wet cat food but none of my 5 cats would eat it. Tried several times.
