Zombieland [Blu-ray]

Really funny movie. Pretty family friendly if you have older kids.

I forgot how great this movie was till my oldest son asked me if we could watch it. I would watch it again if he asked, so funny. Love Woody Harrelson, such a great actor! Plus who doesn’t want to know the best rules for survival.

Sweet movie, a bit much on blood. But besides that, I definitely recommend.

Finally! Another great Horror movie to put on my shelf...right next to Evil Dead 2, 28 Days Later, Tom Savini's remake of Night of the Living Dead and Zack Snyder's remake of Dawn of the Dead. Zombieland is also one of the best Dark Comedies to come out in years.Director Ruben Fleischer who's know for, well, just about nothing, gives fans of the genre a scary, tense, thrilling, action packed and really funny gift of a movie with Zombieland. The cast is top notch and they all put in top notch performances. And when I say "the cast", I mean pretty much just the 4 leads that don't share much screen-time with anyone other than zombies.The dialogue and chemistry between Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg is priceless. I dare suggest that it rivals that of the Travolta/Jackson pairing in Pulp Fiction. 99% of the movie is carried solely by Harrelson, Eisenberg, Emma (her hotness will turn you to) Stone and Abigail Breslin (remember that little girl with the tin foil on her head in Signs?). And they all do a great job of making the movie fun and thoroughly entertaining from start to finish.The movie deals in the 28 Days Later virus-stricken zombies versus the Night of the Living Dead risen from the grave zombies. The cast meet up while traveling across a country, our country, decimated by a zombie plague. The movie offers an explanation for why the zombie outbreak happened, and includes a hilarious flashback to the time of the outbreak with Eisenberg's character.What's really cool is most of the characters do what you'd expect them to do if this zany situation ever really occurred. The movie is mostly absent of those moments where you say out loud, "Oh c'mon, no one would ever do that!"...That is until the final moments of the movie where the ladies make a pretty stupid move contrary to the smarts that they showed in the previous 75 minutes of the movie. And in the same sequence the actions of all 4 cast members get a bit silly and over the top.Still, all in all, it's a great movie. I'm one to complain loudly about Hollywood's addiction to making movies that go well beyond the 2-hour mark. But I was crying for more when the realization struck me that Zombieland was over. The credits were rolling at the 1 hour and 24 minute mark.When the rumored release of Zombieland 2 comes out in 2011, I might just have to venture out into the Zombieland that is my home town to see it in theaters instead of waiting for Blu Ray. Add Zombieland to your cart...well worth the price of admission!

I bought this dvd for a friend who is really into post-apocalyptic zombie films. This one has a mix of dark humour, combined with plenty of gore. Woody Harrelson, who plays the character, Tallahassee, steals a lot of scenes with his wacky personality and expert zombie killing skills. It's a fun watch to be entertained. Disc came in good condition!

物語は気弱な青年がテキサス州の学校の宿舎の全員がゾンビになって息をひそめて部屋にこもっていたのだが故郷に帰ることにして外に出て歩いて帰るのだが?その途中にバイクに乗ったタナハシーと出合一緒に行動して途中に2組の女性とまた出会うのだが。。。所々にコミカルな面がありハリウットに行き豪邸に行って休もうとするがゴーストバスターズの主演俳優ビルマーレーがゾンビの姿で生き延びていたのだが、、、大変コミカルなゾンビ映画です大人も子供も楽しめる映画です。ゾンビ映画好きな人にはお勧めの映画です、

« Bienvenue à Zombieland » parvient à s'imposer comme un film de zombies et comme une véritable comédie, bien au dessus des codes et des habituelles parodies sur le thème.Dans un monde envahit par les zombies, à cause du virus de la vache folle, les chemins de 4 survivants s'entrecroisent avant de se fusionner. Les quatre héros, qui se choisissent pour nom la destination à laquelle ils voudraient se rendre, forment bientôt une équipe assez improbable : Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg) est un jeune homme très banal qui doit sa survie à l'application de 33 règles très aussi strictes que farfelues (avoir un bon cardio, la double dose, se méfier des toilettes, ne pas jouer les héros etc.), Tallahassee (Woody Harreslon) est un gros dur surarmé, Wichita (Emma Stone) et la très jeune Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) sont deux jeunes arnaqueuses débrouillarde habituées à se sortir des mauvais pas par leur ingéniosité. En route vers le parc d'attraction « Pacific Play Ground », la petite bande se paye un séjour désopilant dans la résidence de Bill Murray qui joue son propre rôle à la perfection.Humour, second degré et qualité de la réalisation (avec des très amusants flashbacks), bonne musique et scène finale d'anthologie dans le parc d'attraction font de ce film court (1h20) un divertissement à la fois très geek et très réussi.
