OXOSteeL Bottle Opener

It’s sleek with its matte silver finish and a good size too (decently small so it’s not taking up a lot of space but big enough to use and be comfortable in your hand). It’s got some heft to it, so it should last. The little rubber square grip on one side keeps it from sliding around too much when it’s on a flat surface and it opens bottles easily enough. Also it’s not difficult to pick up when you need it like some other designs (I’m looking at you, long flat steel bottle openers I see often at bars). I’ve liked it enough to get a second one a couple years after the first one. Quality seems the same, so very much happy with that.

This thing is heavy duty. You could literally use it as a self defense weapon, it is a serious piece of cast metal.This is nice because you never have to worry about it bending or breaking like some of the cheaper bartender style bottle openers. It works exactly like you would expect, nothing new there. The handle is very comfortable and ergonomic, there is no sharp edges digging into your skin it is all smooth and rounded.One end is for bottle caps. They work like any other. But it is larger than most other ones which makes it easier to slip onto the top of the bottle quickly or you could use it for a larger size bottle which is nice. The other side is for twist caps. This seemed stupid to me when I first saw it, but I actually have used it many times now. It makes twist tops as easy as a normal cap now. No more need to grab a towel to put over the cap so you don't hurt your hands and to get grip, instead just use this and it pops right off without any effort.This is worth every penny. Really happy with it.

This opened defferes from all others I ever had. It is durable, strong, easy opening and comfortable to use.

My old school bottle opener stopped working. I had the one that's a combo wine bottle opener. I was frustrated and found this one.Who knew a bottle opener could make me this happy! I drink mineral water in glass bottles, so I use this opener several times a day.It's super sturdy, opens bottles with little to no effort, and is worth the price. I absolutely love it!

I bought this as a replacement beer bottle opener. I had a long flat one that worked perfectly, but was lost. Though this bottle opener isn't as long as my old one, it still works well enough given its length. What I really love about this product is that all the edges are rounded, giving you a comfortable feel to the touch and when applying pressure to open a bottle, your hand won't get pressured by the edges. I also think this is one of the better looking bottle openers out there right next to the William Sonoma one, but this one is almost 1/3 the price of the WS one :)

This is the studiest bottle opener I have. I got tired of tearing up my palm opening twist-off social lubricant bottles at picnics and events, and sought out this opener. It instantly became my go-to.One side is the deepest pop-off type of cap remover I've ever used and it's oddly satisfying to use. That's not what drew me to this though.The twist off type? That's not for plastic caps like some reviews complain about. It's for standard crimped metal caps on glass glass bottles, the type that is a twist-off. It's a perfect fit for this standard metal cap.This is a solid, heavy opener. If you toss it down it could mark or dent a surface so it has a rubber pad on one side to prevent marking whatever you toss it on. It also provides friction so the opener doesn't vibrate off a surface or rattle on a fridge top.It's all about the details and this opener won't disappoint of you use it for the type of bottles it's pictured for.

Exactly what it should be. It's actually heavier than I thought it would be, but in a good way. The word that comes to mind is "choncky". The circular, bottle twist side is SLIGHTLY looser than I would prefer, so if you press down on it hard enough over the cap, it can slide past it onto the neck of the bottle. Completely not an issue for me, as I use that side to hang it on the wall. The "business" end is FLAWLESS. This product is like 70% function and 30% display. Are there more practical bottle openers, ya..... sure.... maybe. But honestly, this just feels right, hanging up next to my calendar....... waiting for a fun, new beverage to experience. Buy this thing. It's everything you need, most of what you want and it's only 10 bucks. If this was $25, I would probably rate this a 4/5, but at this price, just get it. CHEERS!
