Very well made! Very sturdy! I hand wash and dry cause that's what I prefer. Review: Great! - Only used it once so far, but it squashed those burgers nice and flat with ease! I used parchment paper so it wouldn't stick and it was so easy to just push down and smash the burgers. Before I had been using a metal spatula and pressing down awkwardly because I hadn't ordered this yet and I'm so glad that I did, because this was sooo much easier! There are other fancier looking ones with wooden handles and such, but I wanted to be able to run this through the dishwasher, knowing that it would have raw meat on it after use, even with parchment paper, it did get a little meat juices from the meat squishing out around the edges, which I predicted and thus why I wanted one that would have no issues going through the dishwasher, well, it's been through twice now and looks just like when we bought it.
