Emporio Armani Men's Kappa Stainless Steel Analog-Quartz Watch with Leather Calfskin Strap

Definitely it looks elegant. Same as the picture on Amazon. But Warranty card and Emporio Armani user manual were not inside the box what I usually see when purchase watches.

Now this is an elegant watch worthy of any formal occasion or everyday wear as you so choose. It is reasonably thin but certainly not ultra thin. I really like the logo at the 12 o'clock position. It adds elegance and some style to an otherwise uncluttered look. I've always been partial to Roman numerals for some odd reason. It you have very good eyesight you can read the seconds numbers spaced every five seconds.I need bifocal glasses to read just about anything these days, but with the bright white background and nicely contrasting hour and second hands, I can still make out the time without my glasses. That's a lot more than I can say for some other watches I own. If it's difficult to make out the time, what's the purpose of even wearing a watch? I suppose I can reach into my hip pocket and pull out my cell phone to read the time with big numbers, but that's nuisance to rely upon that method. It's a throwback to a pocket watch I had quite a number of decades ago. With my current cell phone, it can do just about anything except make a phone call. I hate it.The leather strap is smooth and soft. I had to double check that the band is actually leather. It's not quite like any leather band I've felt prior to this one. All I want is for it not to leave a really deep crease where I repeatedly buckle it in place. Time will tell. Pun.I like the diameter of this watch dial very much. It's not oversized like a lot of them are today. And it's not at all too small either. It's just perfect for my arm. It feels very good to wear it. To be honest, I don't wear a watch unless I leave the house for someplace special. During the day around the house, I have more than enough clocks spaced through the house to know what time it is at a casual glance.I'm very pleased with this watch and it will be my favorite one to wear, especially in formal situations. I think this is one of the nicest watches I've ever seen, not that I use watches as a major fashion statement. I especially like the gold finish. I believe you'll like it and the price is quite reasonable, too.

This is a men's watch with a leather band. The watch is 1.5" in diameter. The face is white with large roman numerals (III, VI, IX, Armani logo) with single lines between embossed in copper. Along the outer edge of the face are minutes/seconds numbered in 5s in black 8 pt font. The watch has 3 hands, hours, minutes, seconds and one crown for time adjustment. The strap is textured charcoal brown leather 21mm at the case and 8.25" maximum diameter with 10 adjustment holes, 0.25" apart. The case and strap buckle are stainless steel in a coppery color. The watch is waterproof to 50 meters. In the box, you also get a 276 page book 2.75x3.75x0.5" book in 13 languages covering all Armani models (16 pages in English, no specific information about this model).This is a classy watch for dress or casual occasions. With the big, bold face, this watch cannot be missed. The face is uncluttered, making the time easy to read at a glance. Time setting is easy and intuitive. The waterproofing is a great feature--you can literally wear this watch anywhere. I really like the leather band. It is fully adjustable and feels good against my skin, where watches with metal bands tend to pinch. Overall, this is a great timepiece.

The watch was broken when I opened the box. Glass on the face was cracked. :(

There is not a lot of ornamentation on this simple watch - roman numeral time indicators, and an Armani Eagle logo at the 12 o’clock.The housing is pale gold in color, the face is big and white, the hands are easy to read and in nearly any light (not in the dark though and there is no dial illumination.)Its not a super dressy watch but it is understated enough that you could wear it easily on to a dressy occasion.I have several watches and they are all tough to read at one time or another. This one is clear whether I am wearing my glasses or not and that is unusual. The leather band is very plain but comfortable and dark brown.This watch is great for wearing around the home or office but not rugged - so not for outdoor activities. It seems well made, but I’d wouldn’t recommend wearing it where there is a risk of sharp impacts. I don’t suspect that the crystal would survive a hammer blow!Quartz movement means no need to wind it. Overall it is a good value and a fine timepiece.
