KnitPro9 mm Symfonie Crochet Single Ended Hooks, Multi-Color

I've recently bought the KnitPro Symfonie knitting needles and crochet hooks. Used both for a month or two and I'm really am impressed with the quality. I adore the colored layered wood effect and the polished smoothness is amazing. Very lightweight which is great. I'm hoping they stay in this condition for a long time to come. They don't come cheap but you get what you pay for. It's not easy to get them here in North America but of course Amazon had them.

Personally, I’m not a fan of the chunky hook. This is slim and comfortable and feels nice in my hand. Also has a good stabby top when you’re working on a tight stitch

Ich hatte bereits mit dieser Nadel in Nadelstärke 9 und 12 gearbeitet und war begeistert. Nun habe ich sie in Nadelstärke 4,5 gekauft und bin maßlos enttäuscht: sie liegt nicht gut in der Hand, und der Haken ist so eigenartig geformt, dass man nicht damit arbeiten kann. Optisch ist die Nadel sehr schön, aber ansonsten schlichtweg nicht zu gebrauchen. Zwei Sterne als Gesamtwertung, denn die "Dicken" sind prima.

I bought one needle first, a size 51/2 which was not in the set. I was expecting them to be a bit snaggy on the yarn, being wood, but found surprisingly thay I can crochet noticeably faster with these than a perfectly good set of anodised aluminium hooks. I have since bought the set, and will need to get an additional 2 to make up the range I use. There is a small flat for the thumb, and I now use these out of preference to my other needles. In addition they look very good. My only worry is the dog will find them and chew them to bits!The one small criticism is the printed white size number is where the thumb goes and wears the print off. A needle guage would sort this out.Thouroughly enjoy using these hooks

I really do love the symfonie range - I have the dpns, circulars and straight and I bought the crochet hooks when I took up crochet. I have used my 4.5mm crochet hook a few times however the hook has just fallen off as I have been crocheting... No force involved, the end just fell off. I think I must have had a dud which is a shame as they are such beautiful hooks.Aside from this, I would definitely buy them - they are wonderfully smooth so no snagging and they feel very comfortable to use.

Easy to hold and possible to crochet very quickly with these hooks. Smooth and strong. My favourite hook.
