I like the attractive design of this barrette, and so far, it is holding my fairly thick, wavy, shoulder length hair back from my face. I know that other reviewers have found it not to be durable, but at the present time, it is working well for my needs. I think that the price of $9.99 is about right for the item. It came in a protective velvet drawstring pouch which could make it suitable for gifting as well. It's very pretty, so if it lasts, I will be well satisfied with my purchase.

This hair clip did not disappoint me. The construction was solid and sound. The pricing was fair and the delivery was quick.

Durable. Can be worn half-up, or pony tail. Very shiny. Great price. I have ordered 5 from this company. All very good. Made in USA. Not too heavy. Have had for a while now and take a beating and no problems. I have long hair and it all fits just fine. Maybe just a tad large for my taste but I like small barrettes. I think this is actually the style though.

I wanted something to pull back my hair but wouldn't make me look like I'm a child. This item is perfect. I like that the metal isn't cheap. If you aren't sure I would definitely recommend. The only issue I can imagine is if you have think hair bc the barrette isn't very large.

The Barrett is cuter then the picture. Kinda bummer it arrived broken but spent some time with a pair of pliers and reassembled. For the price I’m still happy

I have very fine hair and it stays in just fine. The size is perfect to pull your hair back behind your head, and the mechanism is nice and tight and the barrette doesn’t slip at all. The barrette is really beautiful too. 😊

This hair clip is very pretty but it doesn't remain clamped shut around my hair. I wanted to use it to keep my hair up and even though my hair is not too thick (it's about average in thickness) it springs open after a short time. It would be good to hold hair back at the side of the face, or maybe as a decoration, but it doesn't work to hold your hair back and up.

It is definitely beautiful but it's fairly cheaply made, not very sturdy. It definitely won't last a long time but it really is beautiful and lightweight.

I bought the Odin Raven brooch and it is lovely. I just got it today so I do not know how it will hold up.I am going to wear it on Monday so I'll raise after using it a few times.

Waste of money. First time I tried to put in my hair it broke. Not impressed.
