Beautiful book!
This copy was a gift. But, I have one of my own and have bought a couple of other copies for gifts. My parents owned one of the homes presented in it, back in the 1960s. LOVE Wallace Neff!

Great book!
I love architecture...I love design....and I love the Golden Age of California. What a perfect book for everyone. I have it on my coffee table after I have read it many times. It is a great conversation starter at dinner parties. Sometimes I move it around the house and at different dinner parties guests start talking about it again as if it was a brand new book. The information inside is great. I would highly recommend.

I enjoyed the book, but was a little disappointed in the photography. How about a little color and some recent photos of still existing houses.

Great Reference
This book contain a great deal of research for the TV series that I was working on! Great tool for that era!
