This book is such a blessing! A must have!!

First off, I must tell you that this book is not the first Susie Larson book I’ve ever read. And it surely will not be the last.Look, I’m a wife & a mom & a podcaster & a whole slew of other things that keep me busy and pressed for time (I’m guessing you’re a tad bit busy yourself). But my kiddos are all adults now, so why in the world would I, during such a busy season of my life, buy and read a book written for those whose children are still on the younger side?Here’s why: because the content Susie Larson puts out blesses and encourages me, always. I mean, always.I don’t have her at my website under my “Favorites” tab for no good reason! I mean, there are a whopping THREE books / authors listed there, and Susie Larson is one of them. Her words matter to me because they add value to my life, on repeat - on the regular - on the daily, even.Her latest book, “May His Face Shine Upon You”, is going to be a source of blessing & encouragement to so many families. (And why shouldn’t one of those families be your family, after all?!?)It’s super simple to utilize. Just choose a time of day to read each day’s devotional content, then open the book & start reading. There is a theme for each day’s reading, with a little devotional / prayer content for the mom (and / or the dad - this isn’t just a “mom book”) and then a blessing for the kiddos. It closes with a Bible verse for each day.If you’re wanting to implement family Bible time but aren’t sure where to begin, this is a good place to start.If you are looking for a unique baby shower gift that will last far longer than a pack of diapers or a cute little onesie, this would make a wonderful gift. (As a mom of five, I know how valuable diapers are - so maybe get the diapers AND this book.)To the dudes who are searching for something to go along with the card and flowers for Mother’s Day, this would be a winner for certain.Pretty much I’m telling you that if you buy the book, you’ll find the exact right time to gift it to someone. I will say that no matter what Susie Larson writes, it is always Lined up with God’s word and a lot of prayer. This is such a beautiful devotional. I love the hardcover, the simple design of each page makes it really easy and encouraging for a mom to open the book up read the devotional it’s very short for the mom and for the child with a little prayer. It is pertinent to the concerns that a mother would have, and not overwhelming that you can read one page while you’re nursing or eating breakfast and having your coffee, takes a couple of minutes and easy to focus on what she’s writing. I would highly suggest this book as a shower gift or as a new mom gift. My copy is going to go to my daughter-in-law who will be having our first grand children (twins) any day now!

Susie Larson’s new book, “May His Face Shine Upon You,” is set up in such a way that no day need go without a blessing being spoken over yourself and your child or one you love. Even though I’m not a parent, I found great inspiration and encouragement in each day’s blessing for “Mom.” And I easily adapted the prayer for “Child” for my nephews, my niece, my students, my family, my colleagues, and all those who flash through my mind. While this book will make a great gift for a new mom, any mom will find peace and joy, having such powerful, faith-filled words to speak over her child. And those like me can also take the daily blessings and have the words to speak over themselves and all they love! Susie’s a wordsmith with prayers and blessings, touched by God’s Grace!

Congratulations to @susielarsonauthor on her new release #MayHisFaceShineUponYou!I have had the opportunity to read some of these blessings, which are encouraging and precise as they line up with Biblical Truth!My son and I have been dealing with a difficult situation for about a month about waiting for God to lead us. I checked the Table of Contents under God's Plan for you and #3 "When You're Looking for Direction" stood out. It has the combination of Susie Larson's blessings and scripture Ephesians 1:3 that gave me peace and helped my son understand God has a bigger plan but we need to wait.I am happy my purchase will keep giving insight for years to come with my children and grandchildren. I loved May His Face Shine upon you & Susie Larson’s prayer both for me & a child. You don’t even need to be a mom as we all have children in our life. Loved these prayers in this devotional and prayer the child ones over the children that I disciple & mentor and that I am a spiritual mom to. I love Susie Larson. Her writing is always honest & real and leads me closer to the Lord along with encouraging and knowing we are not alone. Would highly recommend getting this book.

I love that each day has two blessings.The author adds godly insight, wisdom and her beautiful way of writing to encourage Mothers, along with their children. One of my favorite parts of the book is that everyday ends with a scripture. It’s a beautiful hard cover book. You can read through each day or the table of contents allows you choose a subject to quickly access a need.The perfect gift to encourage all the Moms in your life with God’s Word!

This is a great book with dedicated prayers for Mom and child. The prayers are short, but cover the topics Biblically and with wisdom. It is geared towards younger children, but the prayers for Mom apply for any stage of parenting. It is a great book of wisdom and guidance and I will definitely be giving it as a baby shower gift.

From the introduction this book grabs you, for it is written with such care and love. I wish I had this when my child was younger, however I’m glad I have it now. The prayers written are so on point.This will be a gift I give to many moms. Susie Larson has displayed a beautiful heart & love for God and is teaching through this written word.
