Revlon Colorsilk Beautiful Color Permanent Hair Color, (OLD VERSION) 30 Dark Brown (Pack of 3)

Love this product! I have bought it multiple times and is the closest to my natural hair color. Covers greys 100% and color remains on my hair for almost 2-3 months before my greys really begin to show. And I wash my hair every day, I’m sure I’ll last longer in those who wash less often. I will continue to purchase this particular product, definitely recommend for a semipermanent greys cover.

I’ll be honest, I was hopeful but not expecting much at this price point. I have longer hair and need 3 boxes to dye and just wasn’t feeling like spending $30+ on my normal brand. I’ve been using the same dye since I was a teenager and I’m well into my 30’s now. But, that changed today! Although, longevity is tbd, I have a feeling this is my new go to! When I usually dye my hair (dark brown), the color comes out super dark, almost black. And stays that way a good two or so weeks and looks almost matte with little shine. This is not the case here! Its a beautiful dark brown like the box shows and looks super healthy! I’ll update in a month if the color fades too quickly. You get more than what you pay for with this purchase. Buy it!! UPDATE: It’s been nearly 2 months now and while my hair is starting to grow out, the color is not brassy or faded in anyway. It’s still as beautiful as the day I dyed it. 100% worth the purchase!

I have been dying my hair for years, and this is a great dye to use, especially if you have to do it every 3-4 weeks like i do. The cost is great and the color is great too. It covers all of my gray hairs u til my hair grows out again and I need to get my roots again. I wouldn't use another brand. I combine this with a fun purplish color and I love how it looks dark brown unless you go in the sun, then you can see the purple color come through.

THis is simply a reasonably priced hair color product I use on a regular basis for root touch up. It works fine, and I apply it myself since I cannot afford to go to a salon for color touch up.

My hair grows really fast so going to the salon every few weeks for color is crazy expensive. Since I have brown hair that I dye dark brown to cover the grays that are starting to show up, I decided to start doing it myself. I have done root touch ups a few times myself but this was my first attempt at doing all of my hair on my own. The color is easy to mix and I had plenty for my hair which is thick and a couple of inches past my shoulders. The pointed tip on the applicator bottle makes it easy to apply the color with precision, but I do feel like a color application brush would be beneficial because it’s hard to really work all of the color in with glove covered fingers. The smell is nice, not strong or offputting at all. The dye rinsed out of my hair easily and the finishing conditioner left my hair really soft and silky. The dark brown shade is exactly the color I wanted, but I have noticed a few grays close to the scalp that weren’t covered, which is where a dye brush would have helped. I only applied this a couple of days ago so I can’t say how long the color will last but will update if it washes out too quickly. All in all I really like this color kit and would use again.

This is by far my favorite hair dye. I've used a lot and always come back to this Revlon ColorSilk. It leaves hair feeling and looking better than before every time. Comes in a wide range of colors for every look and style. This is an amazing deal for this product. Higher price doesn't always mean higher quality and This hair dye proves it. Full gray coverage, long lasting,no straw hair after application and it doesn't fade out the first week. Amazing Product.

I originally had dark blonde hair, dark brown bleached to dark blonde for more context, and it was very high maintenance and I was overall-over-it. My normal hair color is a very dark brown it often shows up in pictures as black, and I decided to buy this so I could go back from said dark blonde. Very simple instructions: cut the top of the white tube, dump color into it, shake, put on, wait 25 min, rinse off. However, while I was rinsing I did get a little scared because the water was a deep purple instead of brown. Obviously, as any person would do, I freaked out a little but as I washed my hair some more it started running dark brown water. My hair did come out as dark brown, but just incase anybody gets the same scare just know its normal.
