Sturdy
Used for about a month and catches the falling seed, exactly as meant to. Heavy enough to stay attached in strong wind

Good idea to get rid of mice etc
I bought a couple of these to hook onto my seed and fatball feeder to prevent the mess on the ground below being a food source for mice, rats and pigeons....apart from the pigeons not giving up, they're proving a success so far. Only thing to note, the circular washers where the chains attach onto the tray are a bit weak, already had to glue one back together after about 5 days of hanging it up! otherwise a good product

Great value
Sturdy, well made, and value for money. The same type of product on sale at garden centres at double the price. When we need another basket, I will reorder one. The description is correct. Thanks.

Just what I needed
This is an ideal tray. Its mesh construction prevents the contents becoming soggy in the rain, whilst preventing all but the most minute crumbs falling on the ground. The birds love the fat balls but the ground under the feeder has become a compacted mass of fat and wheat seeds (why they add those I do not know, even the wood pigeons turn their beaks up at them). This has been out in a major storm and has stayed attached to the feeder and not shed its contents. I'd defiantly recommend it.

Me and the birds are very happy!
I bought two of these, for my metal fat ball feeder and metal peanut feeder. I bought these ones as they are metal mesh, so food that drops into the trays will dry out.The trays attached very easily to the metal feeders with the 3 small hooks at the end of the chains, and the birds (mostly tits) have not been bothered by them at all.I attached them to the lowest point on each feeder and the small birds are also feeding from the trays (sitting on the rim or sitting in the tray itself), so there is more space for them all to eat.I have a squirrel baffle dome on my feeding pole so I haven't had a problem with squirrels sitting on the trays.Pigeons, thrushes, a jay and blackbirds eat from my bird table, but I haven't seen them on the trays yet - the tray diameter and space between the tray and feeder is probably too small for the larger birds (which is a good thing... they have the bird table), but it's perfect for small birds.I bought them to stop food falling on the ground, but they have the added benefit of additional feeding places for small birds, and I think the baby birds in spring will find them easier than landing on the feeders or flying into my covered bird table.

Bird feeder tray
The birds took some time to accept this tray. Now accustomed to it it’s popular. Easy to take down and clean

Exactly what I needed to hang beneath my seed ball bird feeder
Ordered this to hang below a seed ball feeder that was dropping bird food everywhere. Perfect and means the birds can feed from both the seed ball feeder and the tray that now catches everything below

Not fit for purpose
I had this less than 24 hours and it broke. The chains are not attached as per picture but flimsy things that snap off. Waste of money and annoying trying to return as can't contact seller because"Amazon were responsible for shipping" After going round in circles finally managed to request a return but can't be bothered. Tied it with a bit of string. Don't waste your money.
