Might be good for a kitten
The base is so small and light that my Maine Coon kitty took one swipe at the bird and knocked it over immediately. Wire holding the bird is very thin, and again once my kitty got a hold of it, she bent the wire so it doesn't fly quite right. Might be good for a kitten, but not for a 17 pound Maine Coon.
