These work great! I camp for months at a time on my property, and I needed something for these darn skeeters. I bought these and problem solved. The scent is not harsh or overpowering. It's very pleasant. I light them about an hour before I camp for the night, and the mosquitoes avoid my campsite for up to 7 hours. You get 24, but be careful when you separate the coils. Pieces sometimes break off. They even include a coil holder. I just hang it from a shepherd's hook and forget it.

the cones work well , but they only last about 20mins. you have to keep lighting new cones if you are out on the patio for an hour or two. that becomes a hassle. the cone is a little tough to light. it takes awhile to catch fire and continuously burn. the smell is like incense and seems to keep the bugs away for a little while. i probably wont by again. the sticks work much better. than the cones.

We were at a park, I think it definitely works with warding off flies and insects, not 100% sure about mosquitoes as they were not present at the time or this actually works. The smoke is what deters the flies. But the burn time is so quick that it became a chore to light a new one constantly as we were using a couple to widen the range of effectiveness about maybe 15 minutes, but we did have a constant breeze.. It did have a strong smell, it wasn't that bad of one, but it can overpower if you are nearby and inhale. I did not realize the plate was going to be HOT. I found out by being stubborn and trying to hold onto it for more than 5 seconds. Just don't pick it up and let it sit before you remove the plate. The ash will be hot enough to burn through our plastic table cover.

These are a great way to get rid of mosquitos and it smells good.

Almost burnt my apartment complex down.The entire thing caught on fire during its first use… I poured water on it and thankfully myself, my animals, and all other people in my apartment complex were safe today…..

If you ask the question section it says these can be burned indoors.Product specifics says the also can be burned indoors.But the side of the box says out doors only.Glad I didn't burn this by my pets

I bought the sticks and they work great. I light 5 to 8 of them and stick them in the ground all around where we hang out.
