Making Murals: A technical and creative handbook for wall painting and mural art

I bought this book when I was researching murals for a client. Having never painted a mural before I read this book cover to cover and would have been lost without it. Full of practical tips it’s given me the confidence to move forward with a surefooted approach….it’s helped short cut a lot of trial and error! The book covers everything from materials you will need to a set of designs to emulate. It’s allowed me to approach things in a much freer and creative way. Painting on a wall at this scale is liberating and highly recommended. And if you’re considering painting your own this book is key!

This book is the perfect mix of inspiration and practical tips. There are examples of beautiful murals to copy or adapt and really clear steps for how to do your own. I can’t wait to try it out myself.

The book has really gorgeous photos, so much colour and has really inspired me to want to make a mural. It is really clearly set out and lovely to follow the practical process through. Love it!
