FJC 6003 Manual Coupler

Had to replace the end fitting of my high pressure hose. This high pressure end works as it should. no complaints. I actually prefer this type of adapter rather then the quick connect types because the quick connects may leak and there is no way to stop it except closing the valve on the manifold. This type of adapter allows the user to close or open the manifold at the sharder valve itself. With this type of adapter, you can make sure it is hooked on properly first before opening it. Definitely would buy again if needed.

Works, but not a very good "feel" to the valve action which made it possible to apply too much pressure on the charging port schrader valves thereby damaging the springs on said valves necessitating replacement of the valve cores immediately after service work. When I wear out these I will get the genuine Robinair couplers.

I checked locally for a replacement coupler for my service kit. Nobody had this particular style. This one is the same type that came with the set.
