It works well for most pots and pans but I have a lot with a sort of lip and it won't clip on to them.

I bought my Clip-on Strainer as I liked the idea to have one tool that I can use with different pots. I already tried it to drain boiled potatoes, eggs and pasta. It fits perfectly to all my pots, even the ones with a ‘lip’. I just need to get used to it. And yes, it takes less space in my cabinet.
