Review: Lovely Soft Baby Yarn - I love the way this Tweed Twinkles baby yarn works in a baby afghan, the 2nd one I'm making, this one is for for my 3rd great-grandchild. Since the parents don't want to know the baby's sex in advance, the pastel multicolor is perfect. The "twinkles" aren't a sparkle type thing; what it is, is a little nub to the yarn. Although the yarn does split some while I'm working with it, that just means that I have to pay attention to be sure the crochet hook doesn't split the yarn. The yarn is nice, very soft, and it makes into a sweet gift for a new baby!

I love the way this Tweed Twinkles baby yarn works in a baby afghan, the 2nd one I'm making, this one is for for my 3rd great-grandchild. Since the parents don't want to know the baby's sex in advance, the pastel multicolor is perfect. The "twinkles" aren't a sparkle type thing; what it is, is a little nub to the yarn. This is really nice soft yarn and works up nicely. I love the color. The ply is not tightly woven but not so loose as to cause problems working with it. The skeins are a bit small and unwind without much problem. Only 1 skein gave me trouble feeding it while I worked and I’ve used 10 skeins already.
