Does what it needs to do.
No experience with casting resin at all, my first cast came out with imperfections because my layers had different amounts of catalyst. I made the mistake of not making sure the two halves were snugly fit together after pouring my resin. Issues with layers and creases can't be blamed on the mold AFAIK. I'm excited to learn to use this better in the future.

NOT THE BEST
Not the worst sphere mold but also not the best. You will need a small funnel to get the resin in the tiny hole on top of the sphere, if you try by hand it'll take forever and might cause a mess. I only use half this product due to it being a two piece mold. Casting the full mold will leave you with a resin string around the sphere (not a perfect smooth circle). Using half is well worth it but will dull with the 3 or 4th casting, the the greatest silicone mold. Will be reviewing for my youtube acct.

Top and bottom halves don't match
Got the mold and removed it from the packaging only to find two halves that did not match. Top half is slightly larger and leaves a gap where resin flows out. Tried cleaning and leaving out overnight and trying again, and got same results. Very displeased with this item.

The mold doesn’t seal when you put the two halves together. There’s a significant gap between the two pieces. I wrapped mine in tape in the hopes that I could keep it the resin from leaking when I poured it in. It didn’t work, not even close. And now it won’t release from the resin because it’s wrapped around the outside of the sphere as well as filling the inside. I’ve ruined a ten year old dried flower from my grandmothers funeral trying to make a paper weight with this mold. Isn’t the whole point of a mold to hold the liquid? Is that it’s one job?

This mold needs to screw on or something, because once I put resin in this mold it starts to leak out of the seam, there is no way to clasp it together or anything, you're just supposed to put your stuff in there and hope it doesn't all leak out.

Public reviews about a poor seal are true
Public reviews about a poor seal are true. I would recommend taping them or something, otherwise you will get glue everywhere. Aside from that, the product is good.

Worst purchase ever
Pure junk. Don’t pour resin in it. Leaked like heck all over everything. Worthless product and absolutely overpriced. Returning it
