This aerator makes a great gift! It is really easy to use, it just fits on to the wine bottle and makes it easy to pour the wine and aerate it at the same time. If you drink a lot of red wine, especially young red wine this really helps open up the flavors. I also owned an older version of this Aerator and loved it. Will be buying these as gifts for my wine loving friends. This one also comes with a wine preserver that helps to pump out the air in the bottle.

I love this set -- it comes with a wine aerator to help wine open up and breathe as you pour it and a wine preserving pump which will help wine last longer once the bottle is open. I recommend opening a wine and using the aerator to pour yourself a glass and then immediately using the wine pump so that you can preserve the wine for as long as possible. The more air that gets into the bottle, the shorter window you'll have when the wine will be fresh. Perfect for any wine lover, or as a gift with a bottle of wine!

I have always been a fan of these wine aerators. They areas to use, easy to clean, and they don't leave a plasticy taste in the wine that other aerators do. I can't recommend them enough! The stopper here was a good one. Does it help wine last longer than a cork? I'm not quite sure. However, how many times have you uncorked a bottle only to not have the cork fit back in? That seems to happen to me all of the time. These stoppers fit nicely in every bottle, so I know that if the cork breaks or does not fit back in, I can use these.

Works better than a decanter.

Have used many similar aerators in the past--one thing to remember is that they are SUPPOSED to pour out slowly, lol. This one is a decent size, the holes are sufficient for good aerating, and minus a fine screen that will clog (as they do). The very cool item here is the vacuum stopper. Again, have used similar but they always required an additional external product, a hand operated or electric pump to create the vacuum. Nice to have the pump built in compactly, for those rare occasions of leftover wine.

This combo is perfect for any wine lover. The aerator helps open any full bodied red wines you like to drink without decanting a whole bottle. And this stopper is slim and seals really well to preserve your wines longer and is leak proof. I would definitely recommend. Also keep an eye out for Ralph, he’s worth the price.

The stopper is great. The aerator, not so much. Just doesn't deliver much air into the wine. It is unobtrusive and inexpensive, but sadly also rather ineffective.
