Corning Ware French White Grab-It Heat N' Eat w/ Glass Lid - P 150 B

CorningWare apparently does not make these anymore, so I decided to try "used". I have three of these left from a set of 4 that I bought at least 35-40 years ago. They are great for a bowl of soup, heating up left-overs and small side dishes. Microwave, oven and dishwasher safe. Can go from refrigerator to microwave or oven. I wanted to buy several since you can't get them new anymore, but didn't know what "used" would look like, so I opted to replace the missing one and get at least one lid. The condition was great and exactly as described.

Great item, well packed, perfect condition.The only issue was with delivery. Delivery was going to be March 13-16, but it had another slightly more expensive option for March 12th (didn't give a range on that one.) Since I was getting it as a present, and wanted it before the 15th, I chose to pay the extra.First issue was that, while the button for the extra only listed the 12th, once it was purchased, it gave a range from the 12th to the 15th. Still ok, but misleading. But then it didn't actually arrive until the 18th, after the birthday. That's the only reason for the loss of one star.

I bought these used and they're great, just like ones I bought decades ago that I think are no longer available new. I love them. Great for the microwave.

The older grabits were great. These are same as far as functional. I'm 75, and a bit nostalgic over the 2 yrs of pandemic. I've downsized into a large room with no stovetop, but frig/ microwave. And compact oven/ airfryer. Grab it snack plates and this lidded bowl are super. For snacks I use the pieces from the measuring cups!. With a couple of plastic lids on 16 oz leftover bowls, it's all I need. Works well for a minimalist.

It was what I wanted. And the price was right

I love this bowl and lid. I inherited one from my Grandma. It makes a great soup bowl or cereal bowl. The glass lid does not make an air tight seal, but the grandkids like to put their bread or crackers in it. They make an air tight seal lid you can order separately. I ordered more of these bowls for each grandkid to have their own when here. It stops them fighting over the one I inherited.

Notice in the picture. Shows that it comes with glass lid. It did not. Had to send it back. Buyer beware.
