They performed as expected. These are straight-up BDUs. They are light enough to wear in the heat. Don’t expect miracles with quick-drying. They are 100% cotton. I purchased them for backpacking, rucking and as general knock-around pants on weekends. Recommend washing them in cold water and letting them air dry, unless you want them to shrink. My size is 34x32. I ordered a medium and they fit perfectly in the waist and they are maybe 1 inch too long, but you can tie them at the bottom.
