This fixture was easy to install and works perfectly. It was packaged well and shipping was fast.

I have installed around 30 overhead lights and ceiling fans in our home in the past few years, and this light was one of the most difficult things i have ever installed. Some things were trial and error, so you can learn learn from my experience.First, the directions say to install the beaded strands before you wire this. Don't do it. They just get in the way of everything and the little wire hooks get hooked on your clothes, in your hair, everywhere. Plus the beads add some extra weight to the light that makes it that much harder to get it wired into place.Second, the mounting screws that attach the fixture to the bracket were too short, and I had to take everything apart to install longer screws. The longer screws thankfully were provided, but I wish I had checked the length before completing all the wiring.Third, and this is true of wiring anything above your head that has some weight to it, it's hard to support the weight of the light and complete the wiring at the same time. I ended up using electrical tape around the wire nuts after the wires jerked loose every time I jiggled things a little bit. Also, I had to use my own larger wire nuts as the ones provided were too small for our solid copper wiring.All that aside, I love how the light looks. It is pretty without being fussy and has a cool, boho kind of vibe to it. I read in another review how you can offset the strands of beads to give it a swirled effect. I tried that but didn't love it, so I went back to the normal configuration. (Pics attached) Just FYI, if you decide to offset the beads, you do NOT have to unattach and reattach the strands. The light fixture is screwed together, and you can loosen it, rotate it slightly, and then tighten it back up. (This will make more sense when you install it and see how it is put together.)Also, I'm including pics of the bulbs I used: clear, E12 base LEDs.All in all it took me 3 hours to install!! Yikes. That's an afternoon of my life that I won't get back. But I wasted a lot of time attaching and reattaching the beads, and you won't, because you've read this review. ;) And I also wasted time detaching beads from sweaters in my closet as I tried to install it. Hopefully it will go more smoothly for you and the end product really is worth it.

For reference this is a white white not off white or ivory as some of my photos may reflect. This takes E12 60 watt Max bulbs, chandelier type bulbs. I definitely recommend using frosted bulbs so you aren't blinded when looking up. This took me roughly 30 minutes to unpack and assemble. The bead strands are pre- strung, you'll just be hanging them on the frame as you would a crystal chandelier. The wood beads and fixture have a smooth satin finish which wipes down nicely. I knew going in, this is a semi flush flat ceiling mount. I have slanted, vaulted ceilings and will be ordering an adapter to accommodate this. If I installed it as it is, which is possible, the beads would hang funky. I wouldn't have minded if this already had the adapter instead of the short download from the fixture to the ceiling canopy, accommodating even more people's ceilings. This comes with all hardware needed for basic installation. Although the small wire nuts won't accommodate my thicker gauge solid copper house wiring, no biggie since I have others, but heads up. This is a beautiful well made light. Something I'd like to point out I see on this ToChic fixture and another chandelier I bought from this manufacturer, is they use superior connectors for the strands, and also instead of the beads hanging from the scalloped decorative round piece, there is a rail with holes behind it which helps hide the bead hooks. I've ordered many chandeliers in the recent weeks while doing some remodeling, and have seen fixtures similar but not of this higher quality and small details that put it over other brands.Hopefully this was helpful, Thank you!

I got this light to go over my dining room table and replace an older normal chandelier we had in the house. This light is very pretty and gives you more of a Modern Farmhouse look than old rustic farmhouse. But it still is a nice chandelier and it's very simple to install on an existing location where a light or chandelier was before. It has nice bright lights and really spiced up the look of our dining room from what it was. It's made of lightweight aluminum and wood. It comes in 2 pieces plus the light bulbs. Very nice piece and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a more modern look.

This straddles the line between farmhouse and steampunk, and makes for a very nice addition to almost any decor! Love it! Good quality, easy install, as described and pictured.
