Great Story
Great Story Line but there were a couple places when you lost me. It happened twice in places where it seemed you added a bun h of people /names just to make the story longer. The first time when they met another family and then when they were trying to convince the record label to allow them to change the recording venue .Interesting and entertaining otherwise.

Nice light reading 😄
This was light reading, I could put it down when busy and pick it up a day later. Enjoyed the family dynamics.

Very good.
The story was very busy. Almost difficult to tell who the protagonist was since there were so many characters, but I did enjoy that perspective.I would recommend to readers who like romantic and mostly realistic and probable stories that discuss family love and mutual respect for people and the land.Rated a 5 because it was thoroughly enjoyable and kept me engaged, wondering what was coming next.

Tex
Heart warming story with a bit of angst. A homecoming that is long overdue for a country singer and a rekindling of a lost love.

A great story of today's west.
I enjoyed the interaction of the characters in the book. The back and forth of those people involved in the story.

Less Than Expected, Yet Still Enjoyable
As a big fan of Liz Isaacson, this book wasn't exactly what I expected. Some of her other books have characters who are stronger in their faith. This book didn't deliver the strong faith characters you may find in her other books. It did deliver well-written family dynamics, fun characters, and romance. The main characters were developed but disconnected and Tex and Abby’s story seemed fragmented. They were high school sweethearts and didn't see one another until 20 years later when Tex moved back to his hometown. The storyline seemed to gloss over and lack depth of their experiences. Tex's son, Bryce showed much maturity for his age and their relationship was written well, but not sure if it was realistic. I did like how their relationship was a big part of the book.In this book, compared to the author's other books, Tex's walk with God, was not developed; it almost felt as if it was added as an afterthought. In her other books, the faith of her characters shows a struggle and how those characters use prayer to make them stronger, which I find inspiring. In this book, Tex's prayers didn't seem to make him stronger. It felt like he said a prayer when he remembered. This story has a great set of characters who have relatable personalities that readers can connect with. It seems her characters are older and want more kids, but it seems unrealistic given the ages of the characters.I am still recommending this book as it is the first in this series! Liz Isaacson is a great author and her ability to keep audiences updated on the characters within a series is outstanding! I’m looking forward to reading more about their families.

a good book!
This was a good book. The storey line was very interesting. The characters were awesome, the whole lot of them, and there were a lot. I recommend this series and this author. A nice clean story.

Tex and Ally
New series I'm not new to this author now and I struggle to like her style of switching minds often with the characters it makes it hard to get into I get she is building for books to come but it's hard to enjoy when it's pulse and jump all the time.it's clear this series has a theme all 9 brothers has been married and divorced most with a kid.she is going for second chance not original but the characters are fun to read about.

Singing the praises of this singing cowboy
This is a great introduction to a new series, whilst also allowing a catch up of some favourites from linked series. Tex returns to his childhood home and his first love next door. This is a lovely second chance romance with family drama, angst, communication issues, career difficulties and choices to overcome, but above all there is family love and the strength that it brings to help Abigail and Tex. Looking forward to learning more of this interesting new family.I received an ARC of this book but voluntarily leave this review.

Fantastic!
Loving this new series! Tex is a great character, and I have a feeling so are all his brothers - I'm excited to read their stories too. This was a wonderful sweet, second-chance romance. I liked Abby's strong character and her development in the story. My heart got tugged in places, and I enjoyed the banter and the kissing scenes a lot! A fantastic story that you'll definitely enjoy.
