Seem to take a decent weight but do puncture easily so be careful with packets or objects with sharp edges

I read lots of reviews and it took me ages to find bags that would hold cans and boxes. Most seemed much too flimsy. They cost a little more but are ideal for my local food bank. very happy with them, strong handles and a thicker bag. Great!

Wanted these to take to a local food bank, who need strong reusable bags to hand to their clients. These fit the bill perfectly. Will definitely be buying again soon. They arrived quickly too.

These bags were designed for relatively light shopping. Although they will take a couple of cartons of milk or juice, they are relatively easily holed by anything sharp cornered, especially near the bottom of the bag, the first you know about it is when something is leaking and dripping all over you. When not holed, very good, but don’t rely on them like you would the elephant bags with the woven handles.Having said that, they have strong handles and will certainly do a couple of shops from the supermarket. But they are definitely not bags for life.I’ve found they’re very good for storing spare cloths and sponges in the under stairs cupboard - you can use them to hang on hooks.They’re very handy to keep in the car - corner shop shopping; takeaway anti-grease container; tidying the general mess; gathering rubbish for the bin; storing kids stuff; putting muddy shoes in … even used as a sick bag once (!) handles were useful. So, altogether very useful and handy to have - and a reasonable price.
