Prepworks by Progressive Guacamole Bowl with Spoon - Great for serving Homemade Guacamole, Avocado Dip, Guacamole Serving Tray , Black, 4

I was expecting this to be a small single-serving-sized bowl, but it much larger than expected! Definitely a great piece to put out at a party (if you trust your guests with ceramic). The 3 pieces are all ceramic, so this can be chipped if mishandled, but overall, it is structurally solid. It is a very dark green, realistic to an actual avocado color, as well as grooved exterior to mimic a real avocado's "alligator skin." The bottom portion on the bowl has a lot of depth, and the top cover has an opening to allow the serving spoon to rest inside, while the lid is on top (see video). For transport, the 3 pieces each were bubbled wrapped inside the box, and also had an additional bubble wrap cushion around the box itself. My 3-piece-set arrived in perfect condition, undamaged, the day after ordering it. The price seems to jump around. When I ordered it, it was $21. It is worth it, at the price I paid. I enjoy the details and the size, and it's so fun. Thank you.

This server is so much bigger and nicer than I expected for the low price. I thought it would be worth it if I only used it for one or two Cinco de Mayo or Day of the Dead parties. I do think I will have to be extra careful when I wash it because it is made of that sort of fragile ceramic with a glaze that chips off in chunks very easily. If I do damage it, I plan to just buy another one because it is SUPER-cute. Everyone who sees it loves it.

I can't get over that someone actually made this, and the amount of thought put into it. If you close the lid with the spoon inside, it looks just like a real avocado, complete with the end of the spoon sticking out as the stem. It's perfect. It looks like it could hold maybe a two-person serving of guac. I probably would not use the spoon; it feels fragile. Even when not in use, this is absolutely something I'd display in the open. The cardboard box it came in was cheap-looking and bending like the item inside was too bulky. It's not gift packaging, but it didn't matter to me.

I'd give 5 star rating for looks but I am concerned about fragility. It's larger than I thought it would be...I like how the spoon fits inside. To store it, I keep it all together with a large rubber band. I think that's how I'll manage not to break it, although one has to be careful when washing everything.

This was a gift for a friend that was moving out of state. The color is as pictured, good value for the money because it was a little bigger than I thought it was going to be which was perfect size i was looking for. My friend loved it.

When I first saw this dish online, I thought it would be the perfect gift. It was! I was worried after reading reviews- I didn't want to get a broken spoon. However, when the dish came, it was in perfect condition. I love the avocado, it actually has the texture of a real one! The family loved it a lot, and I was so incredibly happy with the purchase. I also loved the fact that the spoon, when in the dish, looks like the avocado stem (I failed to realize this before putting it together in person). Definitely recommend. (I also bought the Salsa bowl, another amazing purchase).

I bought this as a gift for my daughter who loves guacamole! The container is very sturdy and bigger than I thought. The spoon that comes with it is a nice touch added to the container. It looks and feels like a guacamole. It makes storing and serving the guacamole Very easy. I would highly recommend!

This bowl is so, so cute, and I so, so wanted to add it to my partyware collection--but after trying to order three different times and receiving bowls with chips and breaks each time, I gave up. Some people have commented that they had issues with their spoons, but all of mine were perfect (the only part that was). I also attempted to buy the salsa bowl three times and had similar issues with chipping, as well as two lids that had red paint in parts of the green "stem" area and one bowl that had sloppy, streaking painting on the sides. But again, all three of the spoons were fine. I ended up returning all of the salsa bowls as well. Overall, these bowls are great conceptually but not so great practically. I would definitely buy them again if quality assurance were improved.

Arrived absolutely perfect although i do feel this is a fragile product so take care with it nice big size dark in colour like a ripe advcado will look good at the table with guacamole in it. The box was damaged.
