Very odd shaped and not appealing. Returning.

We ordered two of these foam hats, one for our two year old who loves dinosaurs, and one for mom, who loves unicorns. The little one loved his foam gator hat and was clearly in awe of mom's unicorn one. Mom loved both hats too. We keep a plastic crown on hand for celebrating birthdays. The unicorn hat would be a delightful new addition to adorn the head of the birthday person. If we can get it off of mom's head, that is. Our family gives these foam hats a resounding 5 stars!

Very upset, bought the donkey hat for a shrek party and the foam started to discolor and turned a tint of yellow. It has also been kept in a closet away from sunlight

this is such a funny and cute Unicorn hat. It's very lightweight and easy to wear. Fits kids and adults, you may have to tilt the hat back slightly depending on how big the child is. Kids get a real kick out of it and it's fun for imaginative play and also would be great for halloween.

What an adorable foam unicorn hat!Things of note:- The head opening is about 21 inches wide. Unfortunately it doesn't fit my big head, but it fits my partner's just fine, and will likely fit the kiddos who use the costume crate in play therapy.- The pink foam is about 0.4 inches thick around the bottom half of the mouth, and a little thinner elsewhere. I'd consider this a pretty good thickness for a foam party hat.- The overall appearance is as nice as it is in the advertising. The googley eyes and sparkly eyelash felt, the multi-colored feather-hair and gold horn are all pretty fabulous-looking. It resembles a nice muppet or other puppet in build quality when viewed from a distance.- You can take photos imitating the horse head scene in "The Godfather" with this (see photo).- The $40 price tag might seem steep for a toy hat. Especially if your kid tears it up in a week. If there was more information in the Product Description about fair wages for the people who construct the hats, I'd feel a lot more confident about the cost. If the laborers are paid poorly, there's no good reason to justify poly foam materials costing so much, as U.S. workers can be paid poorly too.- It feels like the foam pieces are glued together. I live in a hot place that gets up to the 110s in the heat of summer. I wonder if the hat pieces will stay together in those conditions.- Most foams will oxidize and yellow over time, so even if you do take good care of this unicorn hat, you can likely expect the pink foam to grow a yellow tint in the future.Overall we're impressed with the build quality and do think this is an awfully cute foam hat. I'll likely pick up a few more for the play therapy container via Amazon Vine.

This foam hat is comfortable to wear, and is surprisingly sturdy. I should be able to use it for multiple events for my grandchildren.
