Doggy Do Good - Dog Poop Bags with Handles & Dispenser, Standard Size, 10ct

These bags are thicker than I imagined, and I am NOT complaining. They are durable and hold up well in the case, while picking up dodo, and on the duration of the walk until we reach a garbage. They are soft and quiet - which is not something I was particularly looking for, but is something I like! The case/dispenser has axels inside to hold the little cardboard tube centered. This is a feature I had never seen in a poo bag dispenser before. As a mechanical engineer, I LOVE IT. I never have a problem getting the bags out. The tear line is also easy to find. I have used other bags where I struggle in the daylight or the dark to find where to tear. These bags tear nicely and the perforations are large enough that the location is easy to spot, even in dim lighting. I like that the dispenser is white and neutral - it matches my dog's blue collar/leash/harness set and her purple one. I also adore that these bags are compostable. I'm not a fan of single-use plastic. In addition, Doggy Do Good gives back through Animal Welfare Organizations and Environmental Non-Profits. That is a company I have no problem supporting! I've already purchased more bags in bulk, and will be using these as long as I can. A++!

I am giving 5 stars because I love these pet waste bags! They are truly biodegradable and sturdy! I don't worry about them breaking through as others have. They are roomy. Not tight on the hand or short. I can not say anything negative about the bags. The only negative side is the little container for the bags. I was looking forward to having it so I could attach it to my dog's harness so I don't have to carry so many bags in my pocket or have to run to the car or apartment when I forget one, but the container bottom comes off with little movement. I have checked and rechecked to make sure it isn't the way I put it on. It is not. It's just not all that tight. If my dogs shakes it comes off and if she walks to fast it comes off. :/ I still love the pet waste bags though and I will be rebuying them. I also LOVE that this company donates to rescues and no kill shelters, and it was one of the big reasons I decided on these bags.

Do your duty and trash the doody with these bags! I have tried many dog poop bags and, in my opinion, these are the best. They are biodegradable! Much better than the plastic waste bags I had used in the past. The fact that they are environmentally friendly and because I use so many of them, just makes me feel a little better knowing that I am keeping landfills free from plastic. They work well in the little bag dispenser, too! They roll out smoothly and they are easy to open when needed. Their larger size and thicker shell give me confidence when hauling a large load on a long walk. I recommend these to everyone looking for an alternative to plastic waste bags. Also, it's refreshing to know that the owners of DDG not only care about our environment, they care about our pets - and donate a portion of all proceeds to Animal Rescues & No-Kill Shelters. Do yourself a favor and give these bags a try. Not only will you be helping the environment you'll be helping our four-legged friends :)

I was looking for a good, eco-friendly dog poop bag, and these are great! They tear easily along the perforation between bags, they completely cover my hand when using them, and they have way more capacity than I need (for my 30lbs dog). They don't do a very good job of blocking smell between usage and being hauled away, but I have an airtight metal can I use for storing them until trash day, and they're clearly biodegradable. After use, the bags start to change consistency over the week until they're hauled away, but they don't break down or break open in that time. I will definitely be buying these again!

I like that this company gives back. They seem quite legit on that fact and don't just use it as a sales gimmick (based on my casual research). It did feel like you were more so donating to the cause based on the price. However, the bags are biodegradable (which isn't cheap), are still very sturdy, and give you a good amount. A single order has lasted us over two months with our new puppy. The carrier that comes with this is nice and clips on easily to a leash. As mentioned the bags are very sturdy and give you good protection from what you are collecting. The perforations tear easily they are snug on the roll, meaning they don't just unroll like crazy. I like these bags and will reorder. Keep in mind, while they are more expensive the company does give a fair amount to charities as promised.

These bags feel very nice, for whatever reason. I bought the large and they are the perfect size to reach my hand into, grab the turd, pull it up inside of the bag and do that lightening fast reverse-a-roo to knot that so many of us are well-rehearsed in. It’s also nice to know that these are biodegradable. I have not tested this claim as I don’t leave them piled up anywhere. I also bought these to dispose of litter box waste and they are perfect. No aroma seeps out of these so I’m comfortable tossing them in my regular household trash bin. So far, no poo on my hand and no holes like regular plastic bags tend to get causing the unthinkable while you’re out on walks, at the park, or in a hurry.

Biodegradable bags is the big thing for those of us who worry that maybe the standard bags for dog waste will still be found in our dumps 75 or 100 years from now. These bags are easy to use and strong enough not to break during use. They are long enough to be easy to tie and can be looped around the handle of many dog leashes for easy access when needed. -- I agree with everything I said in the review for an earlier purchase -- that's why I doubled my order on my second purchase. But I have two suggestions: 1. put some prominent mark on the roll of 10 bags to easily/quickly show where to tear off a single bag. 2. Provide on your website some specifics on how biodegradable your plastic is compared to other plastic bags. Why do you consider it 'biodegradable'? How long will it last (WITH MEASUREMENTS or PUBLISHED RESULTS) compared to other plastic bags when buried in a landfill? And thanks for a great product!

What’s not to like? The bags are large, easy to manipulate, sturdy and earth friendly. Supporting a small business that contributes to animal rescue, check. Easy open when Fido isn’t cooperating, check. Non-plastic,natural based composition that doesn’t add to the plastic pollution flow, check. Yeah, you’ll spend a little more to be a responsible pet parent, but these bags are SO worth it. We switched to Doggie Do Good and won’t be going back.

Very good quality, thick and large bags. Most importantly for me , the bags are easy to open , I don’t have to spend ages trying to open up a bag

I really love the environmentally friendly aspect and they are still affordable. Overall, I'm extremely happy, they hold the mess very well and are easy to use. Will definitely be repurchasing in the future!

Very happy to see a non-plastic product on the market. Quality is very good. My only quibble is that the bags are needlessly large, so more waste than required. I have a 37kg (over 80 lbs) dog and his business does not require a bag this big.

Pros: Whatever these bags are made out of feels amazing. 😆 I also like that they come on a cardboard roll. They are the best quality bags I've seen so far. Cons: I have a small dog though and the bags are way to big for my needs. A roll only lasts me about a week so I'm constantly changing the roll. I find it to be kind of pricey for the number of bags. I'm giving it 3 stars because ultimately I didn't find the increase in quality was worth the additional costs and the bag size seems wasteful.

Bought a couple of boxes of these a while ago and they a crap, pun intended. Out of each roll we used we were lucky if two bags stayed together. They tear when pulling off the roll, when opening the bag, when trying to tie the bag. Don't waste your money. They are also an American company.
