Easy to install, and it works perfect. Easy to operate also. I put it on a new WEN inverter generator to keep track of running hours. Good product.

Got this for my motorized bike. Quality seems good, setup was very easy. Seem quite accurate as well. Only knocked a star off because after a couple hours of use, there seems to be a loose connection for the backlight so it flickers sometimes. No biggie, I only ride during the day anyways. All in all, would buy again or recommend to a friend.

So I own a Suzuki DR650 Dual Sport, 4 stroke 1 cylinder (4s1c) however when I connected it to 1 of the 2 spark plug wires it showed 3200rpm's at idle which I knew was way to high, at idle it should be around 1400-1600rpm's, so I set it for 2 stroke, 1 cylinder (2s1c) and wholla, it was reading accurately at 1500-1560 @ idle which is correct according to my mechanics tach. tool. Overall very accurate to within +-4%, Installation took 5 minutes. So far very pleased. For those people having trouble, just go through the menu and choose a different configuration as I described above, it works great. I wrapped mine 5 times and used my own zip ties as the ones they provide and way too small, no biggie I have 100's of zip ties.

I have it set up as the instructions show. Reads way lower than possible. Junk. Cheap quality, difficult to figure out how to work it, and just does not work.

I bought this for my Ezgo golf cart with a 1-cylinder 4-stroke fuel injected Kawasaki engine to set my governor. It will read waaaay to high on jack stands in the garage. Reading 2500-3300rpms at engine start/engagement and then showing above 7000 + at full pedal. SOMETIMES after 15 seconds, it will start reading lower and lower to what may be a reasonable tach reading. Again, only on jack-stands. On road-testing, it would never read anywhere near accurate. Always reading high. I have wrapped the wire 3x, 5x, 6x, 7x and even 8x and no difference nor benefit. Tried different "engine" setting configurations, but to no avail.After sale customer service attempted possible solutions, but to no avail. They did ultimately issue me a refund, so a good company to deal with in that respect.

Seems to work well on my old Wheel Horse Kohler K301. Was jumpy at first, but a few extra wraps of the pickup wire seems to have resolved that.
