Re: the coupling you need. Since I also was not able to connect my air compressor hose to the air gun, I wrote the company and they gave me this link which I am now ordering. Will this work with cleaning the dust out of my pc? Does it come with everything I need?

If you have a source of clean filtered dry air then you would need something to connect the air blow gun to the source; ie and air hose. I personally would not recommend using a standard air compressor as you may well blow water, oil or particulate matter into the PC. That's why those cans of compressed air are so handy; no water, no oil, no dust.

I don't think you can. The air blow gun has a 1/4 in NPT fitting. It doesn't look like the compressor hose will connect without some kind of adapter. Also whatever you attach to the hose has to activate the valve check to allow passage of air.

How wide are the extension tips to slip into narrow openings?

The extension is 1/4” outside diameter. The little plastic tip measured 0.342” on mine.
