I was hoping this would work as well as Good Gone without the oily residue, but it fell short. In the end, Goo Gone Pro was both less expensive and noticeably more effective. Max Strip still has an odor, so using it in a small and poorly ventilated space wasn’t ideal. I tested different wait times—from 30 seconds up to 10 minutes—and while it did an okay job removing latex paint from plaster, it struggled with the adhesive on the paint itself, which was the main reason I bought it. Overall, it didn’t perform well enough to justify the higher price. I switched back to Goo Gone, plus got water and Dawn dish soap in the end.

The best product I have ever used to remove the glue residue. i had kitchen sticker tiles and I had to remove them. After the removal there was some residue that I couldn't remove with another product- Go glue - something like that. It has very good reviews but didn't work for me at all and also it had pretty strong bad smell. But this one helped me so much after spraying and waiting for 10 minutes. The smell is not strong and you don't have to put a lot of pressure to remove the glue. i highly recommend it

Didn’t work on adhesive stuck to the floor. Even using a scraper.

We purchased a house from a lady that loved stencils, including putting one on the washer she left behind and had started to try to remove. We spent a lot of time with heat, scrapping, etc and then bought this and removed the whole thing in a short amount of time with NO DAMAGE to the washer’s finish!

Did not remove backing of non stick rug

This might work fine on a sticky price tag or something similar, but it won't work on anything major.
