I've tried Yaktrax. Slipper indoors, very slippery on any store's laminated floors. I've tried the cheap "steel" studs -- rusted mess after the first winter. THIS works great. Easy to disable when indoors; just rotate the cleats. Just like the others, they work well outside. That said, they do take some getting used to. Every step feel like you're stepping on a big stick. The sensation is strongest on sneakers (flat soles) and virtually gone on boots with a small heel. Not an issue for me, but may be for others.

These ice grippers just arrived and even though I haven't used them on the ice yet, they appear to be of good quality and the spikes appear solid. The strap is easy to tighten and they are easy to get on and off any shoe/boot. I tried them on different boots and they worked on all of them. Appear to be very stable on the shoe and it looks like they will provide excellent traction in the ice/snow.

Works well on boots slowly slips off with shoes but still works ok. After the nad fall i had, with these on I got my confidence back.

These are an excellent product, they work very well and are comfortable to walk on. I'm on my second pair as I lost one of the first pair. This can be prevented easily by looping a common flat woven cloth shoe lace under i boot lace or a long one tied around the upper boot above the ankle and run one end under the elastic band of the ice cleat and then tied in a loose loop around that top side of the cleat. It will still allow you to rotate the clear to the top of the boot when not needed (Great Feature of this product) and rotate under the sole of the boot when walking on snow and ice.

These are GREAT when walking on ice and/or snow.

Worked great for four times and then strap broke.

Strap started fraying after first use. Worked well but won’t last
