Boston Terrier weighs-18 pounds, neck 14 inches, length 20 inches   what size? please

Hi Suzi, I ordered an "XL" for Elmo, and it was  bigger in every ways.  The jacket XL size - 16 inches in back length and 25 inches in bust.
Elmo is 14 inches in back length and 20 inches in bust.  I'm not sure about neck.
The seller was nice enough, sending me a "L" size and asked me to keep the old one.
Each dog is different.  Elmo is 16 lbs. If you get a "XXL", you may get the back length, but it may be bigger in bust/neck.
Give all your measurements to seller and ask if they can accommodate with that measurements if you can't take a risk.
Also, keep in mind, it comes from China, so, it takes at least 3 weeks to arrive.

Question 2

My 12.5-lb shihpoo has a 10.5-11-in neck and 16.5-in chest, so a size S sounds right but many say to size up.  Any suggestions?

Hello i bought my baby girl a size M and it fits her just fine. She's around the same weight an measurements as your fur baby. But to be on the safe size order the sz small if it doesn't fit u can ship it back for sz medium. Hope my answer help

Is the under layer good quality fleece?  I’ve seen low-quality fleece used in dog clothing.

The lining is NOT fleece. It is cotton fabric. A couple of reviews have said the coat alone is warm enough in 30 degree weather, but the other answer to your question says they use this coat PLUS another coat to keep their dog warm. I don't think I should have to put a second coat on my dog when this one was $30 alone! It feels like it will be windproof, but it is very thin and NOT down. Tag says 100% cotton. I'm wary. Haven't decided if I should return it yet. It was the only coat I found that has sleeves and the measurements will fit my dog well. Others are either too short, but fit the neck and chest, or too long and too big in neck and chest.

What size should I get for my 15 lb chihuahua?

Our half maltese half shihtzu is about 15-16lb. Ordered Large. Fits her perfect. But i leave 1 button open anyway because i felt it was too much.
