These catch very small pieces of food that would be going down my drain. Easy to keep clean and look nice in my sink.

I had been using traditional that chips and rusts, then some plastic ones that look like traditional and they break quick. But these - wow! Very sturdy!, like the colors, but best is that the drainage holes are large enough to drain well but small enough small items don't go into drain that should not, plus catches the trash particles very well. These have a slight weight to them, they feel sturdy, fit well, and nothing escapes into drain that should not!

It is a nice drain compared to the old one I had. I wish it had a locking mechanism to block the drain so that the sink could fill up with water, but other than that, it is nice.

Ive tried so many sink strainers. Stuff sticks, holes to big, holes to small. These are perfect. Drained well, easy to completely empty and washes completely clean, no oil build up. Simple and perfect. The hunt is over.

I live in an old apartment with a kitchen that hasn’t been updated since it was installed in the 1930s. Don’t get me wrong, I love it and wouldn’t change it, but a garbage disposal would be nice. To avoid clogging the pipes (again) I sought this out and gave it a try. To be honest, I didn’t expect it to fit or hold up, but I’ve been proven wrong. It fits perfectly in the sink drain and catches just about all the food residue that goes into it. And on top of that it’s just a fun color and looks nice sitting there with chopped up, string beans, etc. sitting in it. And if you want something simple yet whimsical, go ahead and get this. You’ll be pleasantly surprised as well.

I have used quite a few sink strainers--- stainless steel -- cooper-- etc-- some rather costly--they looked great --unfortunately they strained terribly --didnt drain properly --clogged all the time--useless--- This product is very inexpensive --its plastic and rubbery--fit great--drains and strains properly -doesnt clog- cleans up in a jiffy ---they came 2 in a set--I have been using this one for about 10 months -- the color hasnt faded--- shows no wear or tear--still looks great. THUMBS UP.
