Sock Stop

The red one has been so good for socks. It applies in a thick gel and stays that way. The transparent one goes on like elmers white glue, but it's so thin that it spreads out and just ends up as a super thin application or a pool of junk. Stay away from the transparent. I had one container that was already set up and wouldn't even flow out of the bottle. The second container applies, but the end product is terrible. I'll be ordering more of the red!

J’ai utilisé ce produit sous des semelles de pantoufles tricotées et feutrées afin de les rendre antidérapantes. Le latex est fluide et facile à utiliser. Par superposition de fines couches ( dans mon cas, je formais des petits pois), le résultat est très satisfaisant. Sèche rapidement. Pour une adhérence parfaite laisser sécher 2 jours. Ce produit est plus dispendieux que ses concurrents mais j’ai réussi à faire 14 paires de pantoufles avec le volume de 88ml. Efficace.

I liked that you can customize the drop sizes and patterns to what it's needed for. Great for creativity. I found though that I needed good size drops for what I was using it for. Small drops dry clear while the bigger drops dry white. Overall happy with the Sock Stops.

It goes on white but does dry fairly translucent. It was a little stuck in the bottle at first but after I got it open it worked well. I would say I treated 5-6 pairs of socks and have a little bit left. I just let it dry overnight and washed according to directions. You can definitely tell the socks are stickier after I applied it.

Would give it zero stars if I could. When I opened the bottle to apply the paint to the bottom of my grandson’s costume, only liquid came out, making a big mess on the fabric. I took the lid off the container and found a solid congealed mass. Completely unusable.
