I was so excited to receive this mold! My mailman delivered this yesterday and I was confused at first because I wasn't expecting this thing for another week. It came all the way from Ukraine which is so cool. I couldn't wait to test it out and even though you're supposed to wait longer, I demolded after about 10 hours. Running hot sink water over it made release a breeze (just listen for the little cracks and a satisfying thump!). The detail on the final piece is absolute perfection. I’ve already made two in the first 24 hours and I'm totally on a roll. Each piece weighs just under 10 lbs. Amazing quality and incredible value for the price!

Let’s be clear up front: this is a mold, not the finished piece, and after working with it, I’m impressed enough to brag about my concrete baby. I used this mold to cast the lion you see here, and the detail transfer is chef’s kiss. Every line in the mane, every bit of attitude in the face came through clean and sharp, with zero “melted blob” energy. The mold itself feels thick, flexible, and well-made, not that flimsy silicone that stretches weird and then betrays you at the worst moment. I used standard concrete, tapped out air bubbles, let it cure fully, and the demold was shockingly drama-free. No tearing, no panic, no praying to the crafting gods. A little release spray helped, but honestly, the mold didn’t cling like some do. Pros: * Excellent detail capture (seriously, the mane is gorgeous) * Thick, durable silicone that holds its shape * Easy demolding without distortion * Reusable, I’d feel confident making multiples Cons: * You do need patience (proper cure time matters) * Finished piece will be heavy, that’s concrete, not the mold’s fault If you enjoy concrete casting, DIY décor, or making statement pieces that look expensive and intimidating (in a good way), this mold delivers. Would I buy it again? Absolutely, and I already have plans for the next pour.

We used this mold to make concrete yard decorations and ended up painting them afterward. We’re really happy with how they turned out! A great way to add a personal touch to our yard. We sprayed it with diesel before putting in the concrete for easier removal.

This comes out looking amazing, once you figure out the mixture and trial and error. Good quality, good price, functionality is great.

Expected a softer plastic

Love it. Made 24 plaques. Make a form to hold. Mix portland cement with water and make a slurry and coat the inside of the mold right before you're ready to pour. This will give you the best results with minimum pin holes. Fill mold half way and agitate the concrete to remove air bubble, then top it off and agitate again. Use sand topping mix or motar mix.

Lo stampo è fatto benissimo. Consiglio di ungerlo un pochino se usate il cemento così da farlo seccare bene e non avere problemi con l’estrazione. Il risultato finale è molto bello, sembra un mascherone da antica villa fiorentina

Der Löwenkopf wirkt nach dem ausformen noch deutlich plastischer und schöner. Man sollte aber Erfahrung mit dem Gießen von Beton haben, sonst hat man überall Luftblasen und bekommt den Kopf schwer aus der Form.
