Works Great
Really like this grout pen. My grout was discolored after 25+ years of use. I went over the grout with this pen and it easily covered the discoloration so that my grout is nice and white again. This pen is easy to use and goes on smoothly. It took a couple tries to get it to flow but once it did it worked great. If you get some off the area you want to cover it comes off easily. I would recommend this product to freshen up your grout.

Covers grout well
Works great to rehab grout and caulk that have stubborn mold. My bathroom needs to be redone (there’s missing grout and parts where the previous owners caulked over the grout) and there is mold that even professional cleaners can’t get rid of. However, I was able to paint over both the grout and caulk to make my shower look decent again. It covers really well, and took me 3 grout pens to do my shower stall, using multiple coats over the highly stained areas. I like that extra nibs are included, as the nibs wear down quickly. The technique that works best for me is to have a small cardboard box that I can use to prime the pen. When you can painting the grout on the walls, the pen can run dry. It helps to prime it by pressing the nib with the point down in the cardboard box, so the paint starts flowing again. All in all, I highly recommend this grout pen if you have stubborn mold/mildew.

Work well easy to use but nibs wear out quickly.
They work well, they brightened up my 2-year-old white shower stall floor tile grout. It looks brand new now (I have an issue with a lot of iron in my water so lots of orange stains that cleaning no longer was enough). My shower is about 10.6 sqft with hexagonal 1.5" tiles and about 200 ft of 1/8" grout lines. However, as others have noted, on cementitious grout, the nibs/tips wear out very quickly. I used all 4 supplied with the 2 pens then had to stop, order 5 more nibs overnight Amazon delivery at extra shipping cost to complete the job without having the shower unusable for too long. I used 8 nibs total and 1.5 (?) pens. Advice? Buy extra nibs if you're working with cementitious grout when you buy the pens. I really think they should stress this in the product description. Would have saved me time and money.

What a project!! It was worth it!
Wow, where do I even begin?! I was noticing how often I was having to scrub my shower (daily) crazy hard scrubbing/deep cleaning and nothing was working. Lesson one: stay up on sealing your tile every 6-12m, this is so important so you won’t end up in the mess that I had to deal with. We moved in to this house 5 years ago and I only sealed the tile once when I first moved in. Essentially I’m four years overdue for sealing the tile. When you get behind on sealing your tile it allows water to penetrate the grout and mold/mildew begin to slowly spread despite cleaning. I did not want to pay to get this fixed because it wasn’t super bad, so I decided to tackle it myself. This is what I did… First, I applied cleaning g vinegar (30% or more) and let this soak for 3 plus hours (it’s so so so strong so please ventilate). I did multiple round of this for days. Please note, bleach does not kill mold spores! It looks like it will, but it’s not. Vinegar or hydrogen peroxide is much better. Second, I stripped the caulking with a simple box cutter. Third, I used these grout pens (winter gray color, which is very light almost white, but with a hint of cool tone) I bought 6 packs. I love the color, it’s so clean and fresh looking. I used one coat and applied in the same direction shaking the pen frequently and changing the tips when necessary. The pens were great, but seem to run out quick, so I had to buy several packs for my average size shower. They were easier to use on the floor (I will use a tube style next time for the walls). These pens were amazing though for the little floor mosaic tiles. Gently wipe with a damp rag to remove any excess grout from your tiles. Fourth, I re-caulked the shower with mold resistant shower caulk. Fifth, I sealed the shower 3 times…& put this in my calendar every six months! I am just a mom with no home repair experience, but I am extremely happy with the results and researched the process to try and do everything right! I hope this helps your shower looked like mine did :) These grout pens were amazing especially for home diy projects!

Great Results for Renewing Grout!
I have a huge kitchen, hearth room, hall, 1/2 bath and laundry room that have light colored tile floors. The 20 year old grout was originally light, but over time had turned dark. I included a before/after pictures so you can see the difference. I decided I would paint over the grout and I chose this product because it got the best reviews. I hand painted every inch of the grout and used 9 paint pens in the process. I worked 2-3 hours at a time and finished the project in 3 days (Appx. 10 hours of work total). I chose the cream color, which was perfect. The pen works great and comes with extra tips so when you wear it down you can replace it. I have rough grout, so the tip of the pen frayed pretty quickly, but it worked even better for me that way. It's easy to apply and looks great! I highly recommend this product.

Good but depends
I live in an older apartment building and the shower grout needed a touch up and the product did the best it could, however, you have to use so much of it to get the job done. I had to use both pens and both replacement heads because of how hard it is to get the product out after the first few swipes. I would browse around for a different product before buying this one given the price point.

Durable, easy, but color is inconsistent
This paint holds up well and makes it easier to wash and sanitize the floor. The wide tip pen seems like a better deal, but is more difficult to apply than the narrow tip. The "Ivory" color varies quite a bit between orders! The first two or three times I purchased these, the paint was brighter white than I expected for ivory. When I bought more in late 2024 to touch up some high-traffic spots, it was much darker, close to the ivory color on the cap. I suspect the first two orders were a factory mistake and the recent order was the true ivory color. My touch-ups didn't match, so I had to repaint the whole floor. Lesson: buy extra for touch-ups, or just plan to repaint the whole room every couple of years in case the color doesn't match.
