Looks as good as the famous preppy designer BUT fabric gets pulls.
UPDATE ... After wearing this twice under a jacket, I have noticed the fabric gets lots of little pulls on it. Unfortunately, this seems unavoidable. I will relegate this to a sweater I wear under a jacket because the material looks worn. See my picture of the pulls ... they are all over the sweater. I kept at 4 stars because it looks and feels so good ... but know that the knit of the fabric will not last for long.I am so impressed by this sweater! As a huge fan of Polo preppy style, I ordered this, not expecting it to look similar to the $350+ sweaters from that brand ... and was surprised to find that it looks as good, if not better, than anything I own made my Ralph. Not only does it look great ... it is warm and seems well made.I am 6'3 and weigh 230 lbs. I am a former professional athlete, now in my 40's ... no stranger to the gym but my 'dad bod' is unavoidable. While I don't have a big beer belly, I don't have a flat stomach either these days. I mention that because I typically wear a size XL in most clothes and a XXL in Polo. This fits true to Polo sizing ... a XXL is fitted but roomy enough that I am comfortable in it. It certainly won't hide a bit of stomach but it won't look too tight. The only thing I will mention ... if you are a bigger/shorter guy, a XXL will be very long! I am 6'3 and the colored band on the bottom comes below my waist, so I roll it under a bit. The sleeves are a perfect length for me but might be too small for someone a bit short. (Under 5'8)I ordered the white color for a pretty yachting/rowing/tennis/cricket sort of look. The maroon/black bands really bring out the preppiness factor. I was worried at first about the dimpled knit pattern but it makes the sweater look better! I am ordering one in black too! The sweater is warm ... it's made of 80% acrylic and 20% cotton. I have never seen this combination, so I am hoping it won't shrink much, though the care tag mentions it can be machine washed but NOat tumble dried. (Lay flat to dry.) I would have guessed this was made of cotton or wool.As for wrinkles ... it does wrinkle a bit. But, it is thick enough to keep you warm, while not so thick it is too bulky to layer under a blazer or jacket. I like the look of this layered under a tweed wool blazer. It also looks great layered under a military jacket ... or on its own with a polo shirt or button up oxford shirt underneath. With jeans on a casual day, its great but khakis or chinos make it look dressy and preppy.Overall, I am so impressed with this. It is much nicer and more comfortable than I had hoped. At under $50, this is a bargain compared to a designer sweater. I also love that this is machine washable! If you like a preppy, East Coast look ... this is an ideal item for your wardrobe and unlike many items made in Asia, the sizing is like that of US designer clothing such as Polo. You may want to order your normal size for a fitted, trim look ... but if you are a bit on the larger size, or like your clothing a bit looser, it may be best to size up, especially in the white color.

Nice, classic look
This is a heavier fabrics than I expected but it is not at all bulky. Has a nice classic look. The quality seems good and it fits as expected. Love a good V-neck sweater for the ability to layer with a button down, which would really dress this sweater up.

Fits Good Kinda of Itchy
This sweater fits well and it looks great! It can be a little itchy at first though.
