Don't know how I would tell if they are fake. I think they are a great value and compare well to all I have owned with exception of the Aftershock Pro's which cost three times more. In my opinion great for all activities except fast cycling or windy conditions

Q: How do you change the language?

From the manual: If the voice prompt you hear is in Japanese, please press the minus button 3 times to switch between Japanses [sic] and English.

Q: Will these work with ipad? paired with iphone no problem. won’t pair with my ipad. when i search for other bluetooth devices they won’t come up.

They worked on both my iPad and iPhone. Power ON(middle button), and the headphones go in to Bluetooth mode, you’ll see a FLASHING Blue/Red light on the side of the headphones. Then go to SETTINGS->BLUETOOTH on your iPhone, and look for S6, and CONNECT. Make sure you are NOT already Bluetoothed to another device. I Bluetoothed to my iPhone 1st, and had to turn the iPhone OFF to connect to my iPad. The headphones were picking up my iPhone all the way across the house. A SOLID FLASHING BLUE light means you are already connected to another device. There is NO code to enter when connecting to Bluetooth.
