I suffer from Chronic Fatigue and Mild Cognitive Impairment, which my neurologist thought might be improved with CPAP (since I also have mild sleep apnea). I had been struggling with my CPAP machine for over a month with no success and decided to quit it. This pillow that I had ordered in desperation arrived, but I was planning to return it unopened to Amazon. I emailed my sleep doctor to let him know I wasn't going to use the CPAP anymore, and his assistant emailed me back that he was away on vacation for another 2 weeks. So I figured I might as well try the pillow – and I had one of those "Finally, a good night's sleep!" experiences I had read about. I hadn't known a pillow could make such a difference! I slept for 10 hours and woke up with more energy, and in a good mood. I even went to exercise class. I feel great and can hardly wait to go to sleep again tonight to repeat the positive experience of last night. The pillow comes with a removable cover that is machine washable. I messaged the seller to ask if I could buy an additional cover and they said no. So I put a regular pillowcase over the pillow and fitted it into the "scoops" with my hands, and it worked fine. I became totally unaware of the CPAP mask throughout the night, as it fit into the scoops and became a non-issue. And I'm happy to report that it's not "memory" foam, which compresses and stays compressed, but is actually a very good resilient foam, soft and comfortable but bounces back. Needless to say, I'm so glad I bought this.

Wonderful pillow for full mask CPAP users. Very comfy and holds up well. Cover is easily removable and washes well. I love the snaps that hold the cover down. They aren’t uncomfortable or in the way. Excellent purchase!

This is my person review of the IKSTAR CPAP Pillow for Side Sleepers As a side sleeper, the contoured cutouts work well with my face mask, but it isn't infaliable. After three weeks, I'll still not sure how well it changes my sleeping habits. This may be due to all my nightly tossing and turning; thus hindering the success of the pillow. It starts out working very well, but somewhere along the way, I get misaligned to the contours. Then I wake up, just like always. As an often belly sleeper, it's more difficult to determine what, if any, benefits this pillow produces. Sometimes I switch from side to belly and easily return to sleep. Othertimes, it's leaks-ville city-- just like always. Still, I get sufficient aid to where I continue using this unit. Why? 1) Great value for the money 2) Good quality product 3) Seems to releive the occurnce of neck pains that accompany my every night 4) Nice neck support when sleeping on my side; not so great when on my belly 5) Unlike some other memory form products I've tried, this pillow came out of the pack virtually scentless 6) Overall more comfortable that other products of this type

I seem to sleep better w this pillow when I wear my mask.

This CPAP pillow works well overall. I wouldn’t say it’s anything spectacular, but it’s definitely convenient and helps make room for my CPAP mask while sleeping. The cutouts do help reduce pressure on the mask when lying on my side. My only issue is that I move around a lot during the night, so staying in the right position the whole time is difficult. Still, it’s a helpful pillow for CPAP users.

I was really looking forward to seeing if the reliefs in the pillow would help me to find a comfortable side sleeping position with my Airfit F30i Standframe Face Mask (air incoming from the top of my headgear) as I needed something that wouldn't push on my mask while I was sleeping, disturbing the seal and fitment. I was fairly leery at first as the pillow looked very flat, but the cut-outs seemed positioned correctly and worth a try. The first night out, I didn't think it was very comfortable, but I've been sleeping with a traditional firm pillow my entire life, so I wanted to make sure I gave this one a fair shot and not just give up after one night. After about a week I was able to settle into a comfortable position, sleeping on my right side, with my right arm tucked under the pillow at a right angle, effective lifting the pillow & my head up some and providing more support toward the upper part of my head. While the air tubes are coming down my cheeks, which does close up the air passage on the side I'm sleeping on, it doesn't seem to affect overall air flow at all. I was easily able to find a position that was both comfortable to my face as well as provided my mask with the correct pressure so as to maintain its seal. I rarely sleep on my back, but even in that position, the memory foam pillow is comfortable and supports me well. I should however note that I'm sleeping in Sleep Number adjustable bed, with my head elevated and the air pressure very low so that my body dips into the bed more than is typical. I'm not sure how this pillow would be with a traditional bed that is flat, but in conjunction with the Sleep Number as I have it set, it seems to work well. While I believe the pillow was designed to provide the most benefit to those that have the air incoming through the front of the mask, as opposed to on the top of the head like my set up, but I do feel that the design of the pillow can work for both types. And so far, it seems to be doing what I was hoping it would. I may attempt to switch back to a contemporary pillow for a few nights just to get a reverse comparison, but don't really want to as now that I've found a comfortable position. It's hard to want to sacrifice the more comfortable night's sleep I've been getting since making the switch to the CPAP pillow. I hope to see continued positive results using the CPAP pillow and test the long term durability of it over countless nights of restful sleep.

I'm a relatively new CPAP user. I have really struggled to get a restful sleep since I'm generally a side sleeper and every time I rolled onto my side my mask would shift affecting the seal. My physician mentioned there were pillows designed for specifically for CPAP users so after reading the reviews for this particular one I decided to order one. I am so incredibly happy I did! When in first received it I was a bit skeptical about whether or not it would be comfortable since it was not as fluffy as the one I typically used. Turns out this one was much better. The pillow depth is perfect up support my head and neck. The intentions in the pillow allow me to comfortably roll onto either side without moving my mask. I have sometimes woke up with a stiff neck in the past with my old pillows. Since using this one I haven't had a single one. It's been a great product especially for the price. I will definitely be recommending it to others I know who have apnea and use CPAP machines.

I use Cpap mask and what I needed was a pillow that would support my head/neck, does not interfere with the full face mask and I don't have any marks when side sleeping. The cut out on this one is at the right place, I have to adjust a little bit to have the mask at the cut out while my head still being supported by the top side of the pillow. The soreness is just enough to support the head and neck while leaving minimal marks on the face. They have other pillows listed but I couldn't find the difference in the softness mentioned, just the pillow name was distant with the same picture. The only gripe I have with it of that the bottom surface is not sticky and moves. I have to put a pillow vertically behind do it doesn't move when I adjust the sleeping position. Other than that it has been the best pillow, and I have tried a lot.

Better than I had expected. Neck pain has been greatly reduced, and sleeping on my side with a cpap mask is much easier.
