I really love this. It's classy and doesn't feel cheap to me (except the lock--see below). I got it for taking some jewelry on trips, and it does nicely. I do put the pieces in carefully, fill the leftover space with tissue, and put in the rolling backpack I use as a carry-on.ONLY three complaints and the reason for taking off a star:1. The top part is difficult to take out. I wish they had tabs somewhere to pull on. But it's doable. Just know that going in.2. The loops on the sides of the mirror are useless to me, especially for traveling. They do have holes for earrings, but since I have to stuff with tissue for travel (to avoid banging around), it's better for me to put earrings in the other compartments. And looping a necklace there would likely damage it as there are no pouches. If the two top side containers had something over them to prevent shifting, I could use the earring holes while traveling. As it is, I'd rather see pockets or some individual earring pouches. I don't even need the mirror. It would also be nice if one of the large compartments were divided for small to mid-size earrings that I don't want to rub together, so I don't have to wrap them in so much tissue for traveling.3. Also, the lock doesn't fasten automatically when you shut it, even when you shut it tightly. You actually have to push the top of the lock NOT the case. Or push in the little side metal protrusions to get it to latch. I didn't realize this the first time, so I dumped some of my jewelry onto the floor. I was not happy about that, but nothing was damaged, and now I'm really careful about shutting it properly. (But I don't use the handle either, just in case.) I think it should just shut when you push it closed like other similar items I have. The lock is fragile, btw, so it you probably don't want to carry it by the handle, even if you lock it. The lock wouldn't really keep anyone out, either, but I never thought that it would, so that doesn't bother me.But this fits my purpose great, and I'm glad I bought it. It has worked the best for traveling than anything else I've found.

Ribbon holding lid to box came out same day I got it, so had to glue it in. Really nice other than that.

Great value. Looks like real leather. Good distribution of area. Not just a box you throw everything into it! I highly recommend it. I would have liked a bit more room but the dimensions are accurate. I misjudged how much room I needed.

I just received this item and the latch won't close, the inner tray is very difficult to get out, and there is visible glue where it was made.

Nice and small. But not for me. Too small. But it looks really good.

Looks great! I was about to get a much larger wooden contraption but this is a great size for my everyday pieces. I love the compartments. I use the straps for dangling ear rings and a few rows for post ear rings. I can easily see and get to the pieces I like to change up. The case is small enough and compact enough to easily bring it along on trips or over to a girlfriend's for dress up.

Love this item. I have a lot of jewelry (my addiction!) to keep my warranties in place the jewelry must be inspected semi-annually. This is a convenient way to transport the jewelry and keep it from being scratched or damaged. It is the perfect size. For larger items I like the tray that can be removed to expose the lower tier. Very happy with this purchase.
