Purchased this because I needed a lid for my 12-in frying pan. I was hoping this would be an inexpensive substitute for a metal lid.Pros: Covers a 12" pan; easy to store by hanging from a hook; can be used as a cover for larger bowls in the microwaveCons: Tends to cave in when on the pan and may touch the food; steam does sometimes escape out the edges of the coverIt's handy to have, but is probably not a perfect substitute for an actual lid.Note: To pick it up from the pan to check your food, you have to lift from its edge. But be careful- escaping steam can burn your hand. Better to use a pair of tongs if you have them.

Got this to use as a lid for my 13 inch fry pans. Try getting glass lids- hard to find. This works if you don’t mind it sagging into the contents of the pan. I knew this would happen, so I’m okay with it.

I have 2 large pans with no lids; one lid was accidently given away and the other pan is cast iron. I wanted to find a lid that would work on both, especially since cast iron lids are so expensive. This product is awesome!!! I wish I would have bought a set because I want to get rid of all my other lids. Works great in the oven and stovetop. In fact it seems to have cut down on cooking time because the seal is so tight. My only caution is to make sure you take it off hot pots or pans slowly and carefully so you do burn yourself from the steam. Cleans up nicely and stores well.

Not big enough to fit my pan. Be careful using in the oven. The rubber emits an odor.

I have a 11" electric skillet that is square so its hard to find a lid. (It has a lid but its really tall and hard to wash). I bought this silicone lid to cover the skillet and it works great. I read a review that said the lid sunk in so it wasn't that good for cooking but I didn't find that to be the case, my lidstayed on flat. If you need an oversized lid, this is it. The seller is very prompt too.

This lid works will on my large frying pan. It seals in moisture as well as a custom made lid for a pan.

This is a handy little silicone lid, which I use primarily for a 12 in cast-iron skillet. It contains spatter, and is easy to clean.

Used it as a lid for my 10" non-stick pan that did not come with lid. My son saw it and was in awe. Holds moisture in while cooking, light weight, and easy to clean. Turmeric does not stain the silicone. Best of all I now have a lid for my 13" stainless steel bowl, no more cellephane! Forgot to mention the lid came with a free small mouth size mason lid make of silicone.
