I am really enjoying using these shoes. I use them in the gym but not for martial arts. They are comfortable, give freedom of movement and most important to me, they make me feel safe as they are really non slip. Having had a smashed knee and a broken femur theses shoes give me the confidence to move freely without slipping. Have bought a second pair, different colour. Oh! And a bonus, they can go in the washing machine.
